I carried all my items into the hotel, along with my toddler, to find out you cant check in at the hotel and I had to go to The Manteo to check in. Thats weird. And inconvenient. I walked in the cold over to Manteo to check in. My toddler complaining she was freezing so I ended up carrying her. I probably wont stay at The Eldorado again because of that. It’s too much of a hassle.

No staff at the front desk. You have to walk 4minutes to a different hotel to check in and out

Inga was amazing. She catered to our needs, and went above and beyond with her customer service. We would stay again based on her customer service alone.

Staff and amenities were top notch! Inge is a great concierge and truly catered to our needs and gave us the perfect stay! A picturesque location with a great a**osphere… what’s not to like? 5 stars all over!

Stayed here the night of our honeymoon. We were dropped off by taxi at 5:15pm. Nobody was at the front desk or anywhere to be found. It took half an hour of calling the hotel over and over before someone finally picked up and gave us directions to the front desk of the adjoining hotel which was a twenty minute walk away.
We arrived in our room to find the walls coated in splattered food and stains. The carpeted hallways of the hotel were stained and everything needed a good dusting. We went to the bar at 10pm to see a bunch of young adults all goofing around and rudely told us to leave since they closed the bar early. I really wish that we had stayed somewhere else and this place ruined the night of our honeymoon. We would have had a better time at a budget hotel like a super 8 and it would have been immensely cheaper. Stay away.

Great stay for our anniversary. The only negative was the pool and spa closing on Friday (10/13) for maintenance. Restaurant was quite good.
