Myself and my family came for a roast dinner on Sunday booked last minute. Unfortunately we were not impressed. Food was seasoned in to much pepper which over powered all the food, the food wasn’t very hot and I felt it was rather expensive for what it was. It lacked quality and love given into making the food. The customer service was rather flat as well and not very welcoming.

I went to the Cottage Inn for the eurovision viewing and it was a lovely experience! It was decorated for the occasion, and with a big TV with good speakers. The staff were lovely, (as were the other people attending). They even gave out some cakes! It is a nice, clean pub that I would definitely recommend.

Lovely home cooked pub lunch. Good quality and generous portions. Also nice to have a really good side salad rather than the usual afterthought. 2 main course & 2 soft drinks, just over &30, which we thought was great value. Would recommend.

Went for dinner on Tuesday, they had their chippy special menu on! The fish was cooked perfectly and the same with the sausages. The batter was light and crispy which was perfect and loads of chips! The curry sauce was lovely and flavourful. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped to top up the EV as there’s a charger in the car park, nice half of adnams, friendly pub very pleasant inside, almost regret by battery not needing more charge so I could eat as well. Modern interior but still with character, seems like a locals pub

The Cottage used to be a tired looking place many years ago so lovely to see it reopen under new management. Friendly welcome, excellent beer (Adnams ❤️), fabulous chips and a really nice interior. Will be coming back again and again - lovely pub.

Found the "manager" rude and unfriendly and unhelpful. The drinks are way too over priced. It may of had a revamp but there's more life in a morgue. Cannot wait to drink up and get out of here. Sorry like, it used to be a good pub in the day. Will NEVER come here again. Simpz. Hope it shuts down!
