Rockcrest House

Rockcrest House is the ideal place to stay in Kenmare! Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and nicely decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. David and Marian were so friendly and welcoming, and they provided some great recommendations for restaurants and pubs in town (which is just a few minutes' walk away from the B&B!). The full Irish breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious! We would love to come back!

Beautiful house with amazing views and peaceful sounds in the morning. The beds were comfortable, rooms were roomy, and the breakfast was really good. Marian and David were very friendly and attentive to guests needs. Easy 5 min walk into the village. I hope to stay here again.

We are two active retired couples, doing a self-drive around Ireland. We had prebooked to stay one night, but after one night we decided to use the Rockcrest House as our base and we stayed four nights. We highly recommend the Rockcrest House. We felt at home from the beginning. We were greeted by Marion who is a delightful and warm hostess with insights for the town of Kenmare. David greeted us at breakfast with tons of ideas of how to spend our day, how much time each drive would take and insights into the local area including a very scenic drive to Killarney. One of our favorite local recommendations was Crowley Bar, a pub that has been in the same family for several generation. The house and rooms are lovely, with everything you need, plenty of room, with wonderful views, ample of parking, great and stable WIFI, and an easy walk to town. Several great choices for breakfast including the full Irish. Everything made fresh and large coffee cups. It is clear the details matter to Marion and David. Both made us feel at home, we are looking forward to returning.

My wife and I stayed at Rockcrest House for 3 nights in August. It was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were large and comfortable and it was just a 5 minute walk to the main street in Kenmare for dinner, Guinness and some live Irish music. Breakfast was yummy. I really enjoyed the fresh picked berries and stewed apple thanks to Marian's foraging skills. David helped us out with directions and their daughter gave us really good tips on things to see in the surrounding area. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay.

Our stay was delightful. We were warmly welcomed by David, who gave us insider tips to touring the area. Our rooms were so comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our three night stay immensely. It's the perfect location, right off the amazing Ring of Kerry and within walking distance to lovely downtown Kenmare, with amazing restaurants and shopping. Marion cooks your breakfast to order and they are delicious! And their daughter served with a cheery attitude. It was my sister's birthday and Marion even provided a birthday chocolate bar with a birthday hug. They are as nice as can be and the rooms could not be cleaner. Don't hesitate to stay here!

Very clean and comfortable guest house with delicious breakfast offered. Marian and David are excellent hosts and the views from the rooms are beautiful. We had a car and parking was offered. Kenmare is an easy town to drive in which was a plus as the house is a bit too far for an easy stroll into town. Reasonably priced, only cash.

This is a beautiful B&B with its own garden, in a tranquil setting just outside the centre of Kemare. The B&B has won a number of awards/recognition including TA's "best of the best" all of which are well deserved. The hosts are very warm and friendly, and very committed to the comfort of their guests. Our room was very spacious double, very well appointed and furnished. The guest lounge was a nice touch., Great breakfast and free parking onsite. Kenmare is a beautiful little town, and this makes for a perfect base.

We would not change a thing, except stay here longer! Will definitely stay here again! The owners are lovely and very accommodating. House is very clean, comfortable and just a 5 minute pretty walk into Kenmare. The breakfast may have been the best of our two week trip!

My wife and I spent a night here last week and greatly enjoyed our experience. Our room was very comfortable with a terrific view, breakfast was delicious and Marion and David were very gracious and efficient hosts. Rockcrest House is well located just a short walk from the main Kenmare streets. We were sorry we could only had one night available to stay there.
