I stayed 9 nights in Aquamarine hotel with my wife and 3 kids on all inclusive basis. The rooms were cleaned daily and very discreetly, unlike other hotels where you are awoken by room service. The cleaning ladies kindly told us that if we require anything, address them directly for extra clean towels or bed sheets. The rooms are well air-conditioned with self- controlled AC to adjust settings to your own preferences. We had a tea kettle and spacious wardrobes; however, the hangers were missing. The safe was allocated in one of the wardrobes, but didn't work. Would possibly like to have an iron (that would save me a luggage space by carrying my own travel iron). The bar area, next to swimming pool, has been cleaned only in the morning- for the rest of the day it was loaded with plastic glasses left behind with overwhelmed bin and wasps circling around finishing the drink leftovers. Despite that, the bar attendant made you feel comfortable; he is experienced and professional in his field with a great knowledge of blending cocktails, either alcoholic and soft drinks. The reception staff were rather cold-hearted, lacking basic greeting skills. Their English knowledge (which is unacceptable for a 4 -stars hotel) was rather poor. I hope the management of the Central hotel will read this post and initiate appropriate measures. The day manager, who was in charge on 27th July ( the date we arrived) was rude and inconsiderate, struggling with English also, or possibly pretending not to understand words such as "condensation" and "mould". As a matter of fact, we have been allocated with a family apartment on the ground floor. When we entered the flat, the floor was slippery wet and the wardrobe was concealing a wall- high mould. We addressed the reception manager about this issue and he was coming up with all sorts of ridiculous excuses. The AC in one of the rooms didn't work at all and the toilet didn't flush. He said that he would send an engineer in the morning and that there are no rooms available for us. We complained to an agency we booked this package holiday from, and within 2 hours we were relocated to another lovely and mould- free flat that "miraculously " became available. The manager, however, never bothered to inquire whether the apartment was suitable and/or whether everything was ok. We even bumped into each other in the morning of our departure. Not only he didn't stop to say " farewell ", unlike ALL other members of staff, but even didn't bother to say what appropriate for that situation, such as " I hope you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon." We felt that we were some sort of burden to him. Despite all as above, our experience was indeed very special and the staff of the restaurant ( where we were feasting 3 times a day) made it as such. The restaurant manager, Vasilis, and his team of 2 male waiters and 1 female, together with 5 chefs, made everything beyond and above their abilities to feel us looking
