Corfu Aquamarine Hotel

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are very helpful. They arranged my transportation to the airport. The hotel is a 5 minute walk away from beautiful Nisaki beach. Overall, I am very happy with my stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Would recommend this hotel. We stayed in a room opposite the hotel door & got a lovely room with balcony, great views. Went with my daughter. Beds however as experienced by others, were brick hard. Others after complaining got a mattress topper but they ran out for us. Tip - ask when arrive for these. Staff, room & food were great. Good location as bus stop down a tiny steep hill takes you everywhere. Place is clean. We booked through Cheeky Trips & was cheap from Edinburgh. Been in alot worse but to be honest thought it was lovely. Only thing that could be improved is entertainment as there was none. But Ipsos is lively & near with regular buses & taxis. Beautiful beach cove with resteraunts just a short walk away & a well stocked shop round the corner. Would visit again. Staff go above & beyond.

Today 8/9/22. Just finished our holiday today and want to let people know about me and my friends experience we are both pensioners and thought we would book a holiday this place came up and we decided to go for it . We booked a superior room because this was a little treat for us, well on arrival we got of the bus and had to get up a very steep hill to get to recieption we were given the room key and directed to our room which was up another steep hill then six flights of stone steps by the time we got to the room we both thought we were going to have heart attacks !! The room was very nice but we had asked for a twin room this was a double we were told we had a sea view we did but it was through a small window no balcony☹️ As it was late when we arrived and we couldn’t get down all the steps to have to climb up again we stayed in that room next Day we asked to be moved because the room being so hard for us to get to and no balcony the staff were unsympathetic and told us to come back the next day !!! It took 3 day to be moved !!! The room we got was a disaster noisy air con that kept us awake a shower that had to be hand held no kettle or cups or any kitchen facility’s the bed was hard with very lumpy pillows we were half board so breakfast and dinner food was just ok we ate out of the hotel on 4 occasions this is not a 4star hotel I would put it at 2 all in all not a good hotel wouldn’t stay here again . But Corfu is beautiful we will be back but not to this hotel

I stayed 9 nights in Aquamarine hotel with my wife and 3 kids on all inclusive basis. The rooms were cleaned daily and very discreetly, unlike other hotels where you are awoken by room service.  The cleaning ladies kindly told us that if we require anything, address them directly for extra clean towels or bed sheets. The rooms are well air-conditioned with self- controlled AC to adjust settings to your own preferences.  We had a tea kettle and spacious wardrobes; however, the hangers were missing. The safe was allocated in one of the wardrobes, but didn't work. Would possibly like to have an iron (that would save me a luggage space by carrying my own travel iron). The bar area, next to swimming pool, has been cleaned only in the morning- for the rest of the day it was loaded with plastic glasses left behind with overwhelmed bin and wasps circling around finishing the drink leftovers. Despite that, the bar attendant made you feel comfortable; he is experienced and professional in his field with a great knowledge of blending cocktails, either alcoholic and soft drinks.  The reception staff were rather cold-hearted,  lacking basic greeting skills. Their English knowledge (which is unacceptable for a 4 -stars hotel) was rather poor. I hope the management of the Central hotel will read this post and initiate appropriate measures. The day manager, who was in charge on 27th July ( the date we arrived) was rude and inconsiderate, struggling with English also, or possibly pretending not to understand words such as "condensation" and "mould". As a matter of fact, we have been allocated with a family apartment on the ground floor. When we entered the flat, the floor was slippery wet and the wardrobe was concealing a wall- high mould. We addressed the reception manager about this issue and he was coming up with all sorts of ridiculous excuses. The AC in one of the rooms didn't work at all and the toilet didn't flush.  He said that he would send an engineer in the morning and that there are no rooms available for us. We complained to an agency we booked this package holiday from,  and within 2 hours we were relocated to another lovely and mould- free flat that "miraculously " became available.  The manager, however, never bothered to inquire whether the apartment was suitable and/or whether everything was ok. We even bumped into each other in the morning of our departure. Not only he didn't stop to say " farewell ", unlike ALL other members of staff,  but even didn't bother to say what appropriate for that situation, such as " I hope you enjoyed your stay and  we hope to see you again soon." We felt that we were some sort of burden to him. Despite all as above, our experience was indeed very special and the staff of the restaurant ( where we were feasting 3 times a day) made it as such. The restaurant manager, Vasilis, and his team of 2 male waiters and 1 female,  together with 5 chefs, made everything beyond and above their abilities to feel us looking

Definitely not 4 star, its 2 at a push. Rooms need gutting, trip hazards all over the place. Staff have no clue about anything just a blank stare to most questions. Would definitely advise anybody staying soon to look at alternatives,the place is a stain on nissaki. Prisoners of war would have stayed in better places. Spoke to a few other guests completely agree the pictures and the reality are from accurate. Couldnt get out of the place quick enough. And bring climbing gear just to get to reception. Have a very broad interpretation of all Inclusive. Snacks extra, drinks extra at certain times. And the smell was enough to make a tramp sick. WIFI is extremely patchy, and don't get me started on the drunk couple fighting at 1am that resulted in the woman climbing the barrier and wanting to jump of the hotel. Overall was good but for a 4 stars hotel I’m expecting more. They could give welcoming water in room, They gave coffee pods only the first day and then no more, housekeeping never washed our coffee cups we used the first day, they left the coffee cup dirty during all our stay. They change the towels every 2 days, and never changed the bedding, we stayed 5 days in the hotel 😖

The pool area was clean and nice with a beautiful view. Our room was a bit dark and I think it was not one of their best rooms. The air conditioner worked fine and room was cleaned every day, which felt nice. On sunday there was a good band playing on the pool area. We enjoyed much for the price we paid.

It was good stay at Aquamarine hotel from 1st June. It was only us two for first few days,but despite that hotel operated as usual(pool bar was open and restaurant/canteen operated as usual,so all this just for two of us!!),but few days after hotel was fully packed with tourists.Hotel manager was very polite and informative,all staff took good care of us,and we really appreciate that. We had half board accommodation,our room was in the front of the pool. Food was OK,some traditional dishes was very interesting to try. Beer at the pool bar was €3 for small glass,fizzy drinks €3.50 per can. There is a small shop down the hill where all essential stuff is sold (including beer €1 per can :D ). Location was perfect for us because we had a car,but without car it might be a bit more complicated to travel. There is a small beach about 10-15min walking,so depends what you after. We travelled whole island and wasn't very keen to stick to the pool or chill on the beach,so location was OK. In general we really liked our stay in this hotel (how often you get whole hotel just for you two :D ) Staff is really doing their best to keep you happy. Hotel would be even better if there was drinking water freely accessable at the canteen, maybe some entertainment such as big projector outside for movies or some life music would do a trick.there was only few car parking spaces,so in busy time might need to park on the road.
