Glasson LakeHouse

We had our wedding reception in Glasson Lakehouse in May 2024. Our experience with the hotel and their staff from day one has been exceptional. Our guests have commented on how beautiful the food was, how exceptional the table and bar service was on the night and how relaxed the whole day was and in my opinion this was down to the staff at the hotel who ensured everything was well organized and ran smoothly. Alexandra was our wedding coordinator and she fulfilled our asks and more. Any requests we had were never an issue and she was always so accommodating. She really was a joy to work with! I could not recommend Glasson Lakehouse enough to anyone who was considering it as a wedding venue. The hotel and grounds are beautiful but it really is the standard of service you receive that makes it stand out.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel the weekend. It was without doubt one of the nicest places we have stayed. The staff were extremely pleasant and it was so relaxed around the hotel. The outdoor grounds were so scenic. We will 100% be back to this special hotel.

We arrived at Glasson Lakehouse on the 24th of April 2024 with our family and friends in tow, for 3 days. Our Wedding took place on the 25th of April 2024. To say our experience was extraordinary is an understatement, to explain how incredibly special the whole experience was, not only for us but for our family and friends, has left me struggling to find the words. To the entire Team at Glasson Lakehouse, if I could have, I would have given you a standing ovation. From the moment we landed we were treated like royalty, nothing was a problem that couldn’t be resolved and there was always a smile. Our rooms were fantastic, the cleanliness was second to none, the Bridal Suite was breathtakingly gorgeous! The food and wine served to us over those few days was just so delicious! From the lady cleaning the function room (forgive me, as I don’t know your name) who kindly encouraged us to come and do a ‘practice run of the ceremony’ the night before. She was smiling. To Laura at Reception who painstakingly went through every detail with me, thank you. You were smiling. The Bar Staff in Tom’s who accommodated us on the 24th, thank you. You were smiling. To Martina, on the morning of the Wedding, attending on me and mine, thank you. You were smiling. To the staff who took care of our gang of 70 on the day of the wedding, you were efficient, helpful, kind and… smiling. To the guy behind the Bar on the night of the wedding (forgive me, as I don’t know your name) but you went out of your way to find Fintan the following day to thank him, but it is us who thank you. You were smiling. To the lads behind the Bar on ‘Day 2’, you were amazing, thank you. You were smiling. Finally, to the wonderful Alexandra, our Wedding Co-ordinator in Glasson, you literally went above and beyond. You are the reason it went so smoothly and we will be forever grateful to you for making it a ‘Dream Come True’. In short, I cannot recommend Glasson Lakehouse enough to anyone out there considering Glasson as their Wedding Day Venue. From Fintan and myself……. heartfelt thanks to all of you. Beautiful hotel, great food and lovely staff. So much to do there golf, spa, hot tubs, boat trips etc. highly recommend Golf course is so nice to play, well kept challenging but fair and some beautiful views Rooms are very spacious and so nice Staff could not be more helpful in both hotel and golf area Local man gives boat tours on the Lough and was very informative and it was very enjoyable Outdoor pool is amazing so warm and the hot tubs are a lovely little bit of luxury The spa was one of the nicest I’ve been to. Treatment rooms are large and spacious and the therapists so nice Food was all very good too Overall would highly recommend

We had our wedding reception here and it was beautiful. All our friends and family raved about the venue and food. The staff on the whole weekend were so helpful and friendly to everyone. Even with a few setbacks due to the weather, we had the most magical day and the most stunning photos! The heated pool was amazing the day after the wedding for some relaxation and the golf course was a big hit. Lovely child friendly spots with a play room, playground and lovely child friendly food options! Really a great hit with the whole wedding party !

A relaxing stay, beautiful views, cool vibes and great food. We got upgraded to a lake view room, the two beds were huge and the room was quiet. There was a huge mini bar and snacks, all of which were quite expensive. Outdoor pool was lovely. Dinner, cocktails and wine were all gorgeous, and the staff at dinner were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was a little disappointing, we picked a hot breakfast off a menu and then a very small self service buffet of pastries and juice. We didn't get offered anything additional, not even another coffee.

Beautiful Wedding location looked after superbly by Wedding Coordinator Alexandra & Colin. I was the Celebrant for the wedding of my brother & his partner. Facilities top class.

Me and my now fiancée stayed in Glasson Lakehouse for a two night stay. We got to experience the hot tubs and heated outdoor pool before our spa treatments. We dined in both Tom's Bar & Bonnie's Restaurant and the food was fantastic. From the minute we arrived to the moment we left the staff were so friendly and helpful. I want to give a special thank you to the staff for helping me arrange activities and make my proposal as special as they could on my birthday. Glasson Lakehouse now has a very special place in our hearts and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

The most amazing time for our mini moon and we were upgraded to the bridal suit which was such a nice surprise! The food was amazing! Can’t wait to go again!
