Really good staff who are always really nice and funny lol. The rooms are lovely. The food is lovely breakfast is really nice it is. Pub is nice and evening get a spare key for back door at night to get back in to the hotel. We nice walk around the hotel

Stayed overnight after a gig with my band. A very nice place to stay - comfortable ‘boutique’ room, lovely bed, excellent shower, great food, friendly and helpful staff - need I say more?!

I arrived for a meal a few saturdays ago at the Bel and the Dragon Kingsclere and was greeted with a very warm welcome. Staff very friendly, fabulous service in particular Izzy was extremely attentive! Overall great atmosphere, amazing food and enjoyable experience.

They could not have been more obliging from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a very comfortable bedroom and an excellent breakfast. We did not eat any other meals there other than breakfast but if that was anything to go by we feel sure lunch/dinner would be of equal standard with service to match. They even took the trouble of posting something I left behind which so many other places would not be so willing to do.

Lovely cosy pub atmosphere. My wife and I stayed for a short break away from the kids. We stayed in the Sandford room, which was small and immaculately clean with a good sized ensuite. All very comfy. Kingsclere is small and pretty. There isn’t much to do there, which suited us as we mainly stayed in the hotel and chilled. It’s a locals pub, so really nice atmosphere and the dinners and breakfasts were very tasty. Staff were amazingly friendly, albeit not intrusive, and the whole experience was excellent. We are now looking to try the others in the chain.

A wonderful hotel. Our bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom had all you need. We ate in the restaurant and the menu was very varied with lots of local produce. The evening meal and our breakfast were delicious. We would definitely stay again. The staff were very friendly making the whole experience execeptional.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff lovely. The only negative was service at breakfast extremely slow and nobody at hand if we needed anything. In the bar area nobody cleared the glasses from the tables.

We’ve been to the Hotel several times over the years, and it was better; our group were not really satisfied this time; but maybe they have had problems recently as the service was poor and food was oily, not hot enough and disappointment we found….
