Galini Beach Hotel

The hotel is located literally on the beach and it has amazing views. The staff are really friendly and helpful The breakfast on the terrace is fantastic looking out to sea. The quality of the breakfast and the home baked pastries is remarkable. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. There is also a family of cats that live there and we found these to be an entertainment in themselves.

Hotel Galini Beach is located by the sea, next to it are some apartment buildings on one side, on the other side a football pitch. The view over sea is fantastic. The hotel's pictures on *********** themselves look really nice, but when you come here it's a strange sight. It looks empty on some way, just a few chairs and tables at the end of a huge hall. A few armchairs and low tables at the entrance to the hall. On the right side there is a table where you go for breakfast and order what you want. There is not much to choose from, yogurt, some fruit, one kind of cheese, some salami maybe, some bread, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, and omelet, some pastries and that's all. In any case, it does not look as cozy as it does in the pictures on *********** website. Or even on TA - there are old pictures from even year 2014 so that it was one other appearance than now. O saw there even one other picture which not agree with reality now at all. Maybe that time it was some other owner? Outside the hotel facing the sea is a large terrace with some tables and chairs, closer to the sea sun loungers and some parasols. But no nice armchairs or so to sit on and enjoy the view. Somehow it feels like an abandoned place. Or not properly open. The room is not big but not small either, a bit cramped though between the beds and the wall. Balcony is nice, but unfortunately without awnings or sun protection so you cannot sit there when the sun is on. Unfortunately, it seems that they are inhospitable to the disabled when some unpleasant events happen. We have booked a room for 6 nights. The second night, an accident happened to my friend. I went, fetched the mop and water, and cleaned the bathroom so it was clean. I have rinsed off dirty towels and linens and then laid it on the balcony. At the reception, I told in the evening about what happened and apologized. They did not seem willing to go and provide clean bedding, they were just worried if I also flushed the mattress as it would be ruined and it was expensive. I have reassured them that I did not, only towels. Despite that, they wanted us to change rooms, but I did not want that. Firstly, my friend is bad sick, cannot move, secondly, I have cleaned the bathroom so it WAS clean, and, we have paid for rooms with sea view, but we would move to another room with no view at all. When we checked out My friend got worse so I have decided that we will go home as soon as there is a flight home. Instead of 6 nights we stayed only 5 nights. But I said at reception that I will and have also paid for all 6 nights anyway as compensation for what has caused extra problems for the staff. Plus I gave the cleaning girl 10EUR tip because towels needed to be washed properly. Still, the manager has told me that the mattress costs 50EUR but that he should give it to me as a gift. Although he got paid for the sixth night 83, - EUR - so I wonder what he meant by the gift? He does not have to throw away the mattress, just put on a protect

Beautiful place in front of the sea. Very nice people and huge breakfast. Free chairs and umbrellas. Very clean. And close to the best beaches of Creta as elafonisi balos falassarna. Kissamos is a small town but there is more than you need. Thanks

We spent a week in Galini and everything was perfect, exactly what we needed after the sad situation of the pandemic. We felt very safe, everything was spotlessly clean and the service was excellent. The beach is right next to the hotel, sand and small pebbles. Breakfast by the beach is the highlight!

Es ist ein kleines überschaubares Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind geräumig. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, so dass wir dort auch baden konnten. Es gibt kostenlose Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme. Das ausgiebige Frühstück kann auf der Terrasse mit Blick zum Meer eingenommen werden.

Hotel semplice ma allo stesso perfetto in tutto, posizione davanti al mare, pulito, colazioni non manca niente e servite sulla terrazza vista mare, personale gentilissimo e professionale, accoglienza speciale. Vicinissimo al lungomare di Kissamos dove poter trovare una taverna per la cena ed ideale per raggiungere le zone piu' belle. Consigliatissimo!!!!

Hotel accogliente proprio in riva al mare dove, di notte, si sente solo il rumore del mare... Personale molto cordiale e disponibile che ci ha fornito ottimi spunti per itinerari fuori dai soliti circuiti turistici. Camera molto spaziosa vista mare con delizioso tavolino per aperitivi al tramonto. Buona la colazione con prodotti sia dolci che salati. Uno neo: la doccia nel bagno con tenda in plastica: scomodissima!
