Hampton Inn & Suites Kittery-Portsmouth

My boyfriend & I were traveling through Maine for one of his 20 Mile races. Neither of us had been to Kittery Maine. After a long day of events and travel. Ashley confirmed the room was in fact ready so we could check in early. Which was incredible given we wanted to rest. Ashley was polite and professional all around bright personality. Helpful. Answered my questions and made the check in process smooth n painless. As the day progressed April and Zoe were the ladies on the night shift. They were just as polite and helpful. Assisted me with questions and places to eat. Sadly neither introduced themselves or were wearing a name badge. The housekeeper whose name i didn't get either, was the sweetest. Always gave me a smile each time I passed by her. I am sure she had her routine of cleaning rooms. She didn't seem at all bothered that my room was next to be cleaned and I declined at that time. due to my boyfriend was still sleeping. She smiled thanked me. Wished me a good day and continued her duties. The room was absolutely amazing. So clean. Fully stocked and ready for us to enjoy. On a scale of 1-10 I'd say our stay was an 8. It might seem silly but it's really important to me that I acknowledge and address people in customer service properly. I kept saying thank you " hun" simply because not all the staff introduced them selves or had name badges. Ashley. The housekeeper. Zoe & April did a fabulous job. Kittery is on our travel list again 😊💐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a wonderful property, staff were all terrific and the stay was perfect. We’ll be back here without hesitation.

Tried to check in at 1:00, but was told the room wouldn't he ready until 3:00. Cam back at 3:10 and was told the room still was not ready. After about 15 minutes our room was ready. No staff member felt there was a need for concern. I thought they should have been more considerate of the reservation that was made. Room was average, bathroom and shower were great. Nothing out of the ordinary to speak of. Also for some reason the elevators had a strange smell, not a good smell honestly.

Excellent customer service, staff was very accommodating. Hotel was clean and in a convenient area near shopping and dining.

Hotel is super convenient to nearby states (Mass and NH). Very clean and quiet, walking distance to some outlets.

Great place to stay! Loved the hooks in the bathroom & room. Breakfast was excellent. Very convenient for shopping. Staff was friendly & efficient. Did notice wear on the bed bases and the outside of the bathtub had dust & hair. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Very close proximity to Kittery outlets. Walking distance to some of the stores.

Driving to Virginia, we pulled off Highway here for the night. Very clean, new hotel. Would definitely stay here again Literally right beside outlets, though we didn’t shop
