City Hotel Zum Domplatz

Despite the fact that this is an average Hotel in a small town, we had a surprising level of service from the owner manger and his limited staff. Breakfast room is very nice. Rooms are quity large even if a little more mantainance could help. Overall a very positive experience.

I stayed here after the Austrian Ironman as it was cheaper than the hotel I was using during and wanted to be in the city centre. It was cheap, convenient and the staff were very helpful...they helped me find the best tattoo artists in town for my obligatory Ironman Tattoo.

We had a wonderful time. We were treated so well, being the end of our honeymoon, and we were heled to feel very relaxed. Our room was lovely and the hotel is in great location, very easy to get to the bus station and airport.

The hotel is between the bus/train station and the central square in Klagenfurt (about 800m from train station). Unless you have a lot of baggage this is an easy walk with no hills. Oliver and his staff were friendly and helpful. Anna helped me with some words I was stuck on in my German language study. The room we had on the first floor was large, clean and comfortable. It had a wall mounted flat LCD TV (with HDMI port for connecting a computer). The bed was comfortable with two separate large single doona's. The bathroom was very large with a reasonably sized shower (no bath) cubicle. The rooms aren't airconditioned but in autumn/winter it is heating that you need to worry about and this was adequate. The breakfast had a good range of items, with a boiled egg (and a very cool device for opening them). We ended up booking directly through the hotel since it had a better rate (including free cancellation) for the period we were there than any of usual booking engines. Our rate was a special autumn/winter package that included a welcome drink (try some of the zweigelt burgenland red), free entry to two art galleries (MMK modern and municipal gallery - both worth a look), a local tour on Saturday/Sunday (through local tourist info office - German language only) and best of all a four course meal at the Gasthaus Im Landhaushof (outstanding food and worth a visit even if you don't have complimentary meal). The Wifi internet was very fast and free. The signal was good throughout the hotel although for the first two nights we were there it lost connection after 6 pm and we had to wait for Oliver to reset it the next morning. Oliver was quick to address the issue when he arrived in the morning. As anyone who works with technology will know these hiccups can occur from time to time. After the first two nights there were no more issues.

Staying in Klagenfurt just for one night so wanted a hotel within walking distance of the train station (12-15 mins) and central for the town square bars and restaurants etc (1 min) Nice clean friendly non chain hotel that ticked all the boxes. We didn't have breakfast as had to head for the train station in the morning.

Sûr, la chambre est spacieuse, avec une antichambre en entrée, mais bon, on y voit des câbles, la SDB est petite, le panier à savon est rouillé depuis longtemps, l'hélice du ventilo frotte contre la grille, enfin bon, des petits trucs qui font que bon, c'est pas un quatr' étoiles, genre. Sinon c'est propre, c'est calme, malgré que les fenêtres donnent dans la rue principale, et on y dort vraiment bien. Notez que le parking se trouvent à 200 m, et qu'il vous en coutera 6 Eur par jour, ou par sortie, donc si vous prévoyez de voyager en voiture, préférez la rue (1 Eur/h) plutôt que le parking. Notez encore que la douche est inconstante, et que pour peu que vot' voisin se mette dans l'idée de se doucher en même temps que vous, alors c'est la guerre à l'eau chaude et froide, et c'est pas cool avec le savon dans le yeux. Ah voui, et au p'tit-déj, il pourrait y avoir plus d'oeufs. Mais bon, c'est pas un quatre étoiles non plus. Sinon oui, je recommande assurément. Nous avions la chambre 12. Les plus: - Top emplacement central. - On y dort très bien, lit parfait. - Chambre spacieuse. - Petit balcon pour fumeur. - Petit-déjeuner correct (mais pourrait y avoir plus d'oeuf). - Personnel top sympathique et affable. Les moins: - Pas de climatisation (mais un ventilateur est disponible). - Douche inconstante, ébouillantage fréquent. - Parking éloigné et tarification pourrie. - Pas de rajout de gel douche une fois les cosmétiques consommées.

Grazioso Hotel a pochi passi dal centro di klagenfurt, offre tutti i comfort necessari a un piacevole soggiorno. Personale gentile e disponibile. Camere adeguatamente spaziose ed estremamente pulite. Non usufruito della colazione ma visivamente ampia e varia.

Estuvimos alojados para el IronMan de Austria y el sitio es ideal para el descanso, hay un autobús que te lleva al lago y el día de la prueba te acercan desde el propio hotel. Está situado en el pueblo y a todo se va andando, restaurantes, mercado, etc. Solo se le puede poner como pega , que las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, pero al mismo tiempo acogedoras. El desayuno espectacular y también te lo dan a las 4am el día del im.

Hotelkamer was erg klein en zag er erg sober uit. Er is geen lift aanwezig.Receptie was al vertrokken terwijl check in bemand tot 19 uur was. Wij waren er om 18:15 uur en gelukkig geholpen door medebewoner die buiten aan het roken was hoe je je sleutel kon vinden. Enige benodigdheden douchegels, wc papier en er was een apparaat in de kamer denk dat het heater was. Geen koffie/theefaciliteiten. Hotel voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen. Volgende de keer zouden wij het niet nemen.
