Great location we had afternoon tea overlooking the lake and then stayed over. Breakfast was amazing too!

The room although not large was good. It was nice a peaceful and well supplied.
The evening meal had a good menu and the food and service were top notch.
The breakfast was fresh and the welcome set-up the day nicely
I look forward to my return visit later this year.

Second time here. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. My only criticism is the lack of sinage from the rooms to reception.

Check in time 3pm but strictly applied. I had meeting cancelled so got there early and although it turned out they had a signalling system to alert that the room allocated was ready - no way!
There is no reason not to give the key out if the room is serviced apart from any internal organisation thing.
I, like most people, dislike it intensely when companies put the customer last!
The hotel is ok and the room was ok.

Excellent hotel. Amazing location with lovely friendly staff. Rooms were lovely and clean with a comfy bed.

I'm disabled and use mobility scooter and had an accessible room which was perfect ,staff very helpful and put ramps on the small stepped area for me ,a lovely relaxing stay and would highly recommend

Stayed here for a company function. The hotel looks very nice from the outside, staff at reception were pleasant and polite. Booked a deluxe double, not sure what bit of it was deluxe, the decor looks tired and outdated, old style mahogony furniture, decor reminded me of 1990's / 2000 style wallpaper. Bathroom clean, bed comfortable. Stayed in lake side room but looked out at a fence and barrels and crates at the back of the bar, nothing deluxe about the lake view (thought there was a law about falsely advertising something). On a positive the evening function room was great and the food was very good, just a disappoin**ent with my room.

Mould around the bath. Toilet did not flush.
No hot water for a shower when I arrived in the evening.
Paid £15 for b’fast. Fruit sliced on the table had gone brown. Mixed fruit was mush so must have been frozen. Asked for a latta I was give a tall instant coffee with a drop of milk.
I could go on but no point as nothing will change.
