Nice resort and staff to help solo traveler with planning and injury. Breakfast is delicious , the different tea each morning is a treat. The fitness center by the beach with a yoga room is cool. A few minutes to walk to Lamai. There’s a beach area by the hotel too. Thanks everyone 🌹

We had a fantastic stay at Samaya wellness. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast had different varieties each day.

Great stay, The room was stunning, bed was so comfortable. The roof terrace is spectacular. beautiful hotel. Thank you I will be back next year.

The bedding was clean but the towels did not appear to be clean. Breakfast was just ok. No music at the pool/beach area so generally spent time at beach clubs further away. Location is pretty good- there are some restaurants, a 7/11, laundry a few minutes walk away and the city which has greater variety of everything is like 25 min away by foot (less by car/bike). Robes and slippers provided. Ok toiletries. No free shuttle. Overall it was very mediocre.

Don't be fooled with a description as Mountain View. The dated rooms are on a very busy road and the traffic noise is horrible. Pay a upgraded fee but 3still very noisy. Needs a dame good makeover and renovation. 2 times we had teared sheets on the beds and the rooms are very hot. Aircon isn't working as expected and the beds are so hard.
There isn't a fitness or gym, no Spa, no pickup or droposs as the hotel page on some bookingsites tells you. But the price is based on that. The front office staff is very pleasant and will go the extra mile to help out, but the manager is arrogant and very commercial minded. Not admitting the misleading information and make the costumers setisfaction her fist priority.
YOU AREN'T getting what your paying for. For about $300 for 3 night sure you can get much better than this hotel.
Cleaning can be so much better. Never saw them mopping the room floor an white socks will turn gray. Check the dirty walls of the elevator, the broken or loose tiles in the hallwayand the spots on doors with fingertip marks from months.
At least we got a free transfer after going true Trip.com help desk.
Grab prices are outrageous so the best option is to use the Tuk Tuk taxi (red bus).
Swimming pool is small but oke. Ocean view is very pleasant. Breakfastis good, but hardly any English spoken employees except at the front desk.
Would I recommend this hotel or come back?
NO, I don't expect the noise will be less after a good renovation.
