Koh Tao Beach Club

It is a fantastic quiet place. There is a nice central swimming pool and the beach is right next to the complex. Perfect to watch the sunsets. And rooms have AC!

No restaurant on site, difficult to get a hold on the staff, no water pressure in the shower

We booked waterfront rooms. The view was great with the sand beach right in front. Comfortable covered patio to hang out on. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Like most places in Thailand could use some minor repairs but nothing that would impact the stay. Staff were wonderful. Walk along the beach 5 minutes to shops, restaurants and the main pier. Go behind the hotel up a short steep hill takes you to a road with hundreds of shops and restaurants as well as a very long and sandy beach. Really a great area. The young 20 somethings will want to stay or party at the south end of Sairee beach and the older you are the further north along the beach is the best area.

When we first arrived we were given the room which we booked upstairs overlooking the pool, this was a room that would have had a lower review as it was very simple basic and tired. After saying that it had what you needed really hot water, good air con fridge kettle and comfy bed. We decided to upgrade and stay on the beach bungalows, which was like chalk and cheese The room was brilliant, waking up to the sound of the waves , sunbed 2second walk from terrace, hot water the hottest we had in Thailand The resort is centrally located on quiet end of beach , lot of boats , 5 mins to left got pier and lots of traditional food, coffee, a** nice cheap bars overlooking sea and boats coming and going, ten mins over the small hill and you are in Sariee beach with all there more western vibe cafes and bars. For us it’s perfectly located Staff helpful asked for extra pillows, scooter nothing too much trouble. No inside restaurant or cafe but that no issue with all choices Regal next door has cheap drinks and coconuts if want to chill on beach , we didn’t eat there Pier transfers were great and coincided with the ferry times We extended our stay ending up being there a week If you want more fancy resorts with pristine beaches stay elsewhere But this is perfect for our needs A hidden gem in Koh Tao Which by the way is very busy right now

Very nice small resort within 600 metres of the Koh Tao main ferry pier. Even at high tide you can simply walk along the beach back to the pier and find youself among the shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff at the resort and a good sized pool. Had a beach front bungalow with a great view of sand, sea and sky.

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. They don't show you around your room. The room was basic at best and lacking any charm. The safe does koy work, the kettle does kot work, half the outdoor furniture is broken. The beach is covered in broken glass and bottles. The onsite restaurant is closed down and left in a.mess you use the restaurant in the next door hotel which noone explained to us. On top of this it's a horrible restaurant. Everything about beach club resort was awful. More supposing we had booked one of their top rooms so God knows that the rest where like. We had booked 4 nights and only stayed 1 night. We left and went to another hotel which was the same price but much much better. Shame on you koh tao beach club

We had a lovely 5 night stay on Koh Tao and decided on the Beachclub as it was close to all the main restaurants etc both in Mae Head and Saree beach. We had 2 adjacent beach side rooms which were also next to the pool. Direct beach access was lovely although being at the end of the beach near some rocks the water seemed to be a bit murkier than elsewhere and collected a lot of rubbish. Further round on Saree beach the water was much clearer though this might have just been while we there. Rooms were fairly basic but had fridge, aircon etc and were perfect for the price. The adjacent hotel offered breakfast but we prefered to walk to the In Touch resort and restaurant for most of our meals.
