Kairaba Sandy Villas - All Inclusive - Adults Only

Lovely resort. We went just at the end of the season and although there are a lot of negative points , the good things are the more memorable part for us. The staff were fantastic. Really friendly, welcoming and helpful. We wanted to tip every single one of them! As the resort is partnered with the hotel next door (just past a small car park) and it’s like a small village, you can phone for a buggy and they will pick you up and drive you where you want to go! We walked most of the time Ofcourse, but one day was raining and we had appointments at the spa, so we asked for a buggy to collect us from our room. I love that. The room was beautiful, large and comfortable. We paid extra for a swim up, and were very disappointed that we were given a room that was in the shade all day, so the pool water was cold and we couldn’t sunbathe on our terrace. Had we been staying for longer than 4 nights I would’ve asked to move rooms. The mini bar is always a highlight for me. Everyday it would be filled with wine, lager, water and soft drinks. Which is something I wish all inclusive hotels everywhere would do! The food was lovely. Not quite 5 star, but still very enjoyable. A nice variety and always tasty. The restaurant looks a little bit tired, but it’s comfortable and being ‘adults only’ , it wasn’t noisy. The pool bars were nice and the drink selection was ‘ok’ , sadly though, the whole resort , including the beach area , but mostly the bars, were overrun with wasps. They even sold swatters in the on-site mini market. They don’t leave you alone for a second, and that has sadly put me off returning to this hotel, maybe even just Corfu in general. The pool areas are gorgeous. Really clean and visually stunning. There is an above ground pool with a swim up bar which directly overlooks the beach. We loved spending our days there, on comfortable sunbeds, drinking cocktails and enjoying the view (and fighting off swarms of wasps) The beach area, the private roped off area for this hotel was quite unappealing. The cushions were wet and dirty, very tightly positioned together and just looked a mess. Evening entertainment is lacking completely. We wondered over to the neighbouring hotel but the entertainment there seemed to be just a kids disco at the amphitheater. So we were in bed after dinner almost every night as there is nowhere to go outside of the hotel. The spa is nice. It’s a 4 star spa , and perhaps a bit overpriced in my opinion, but I did quite enjoy my massage on a rainy afternoon. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the wasps and also because of the lack of evening entertainment. A 5 star hotel should most definitely have live music or good quality shows, otherwise your just drinking in the lobby and playing cards

We stayed here for the first time for 4 nights away. It was definitely worth the money and will be returning for sure in the future! On arrival we were put in a different room to what we had booked, which was lovely of them due to it being an upgrade. However, we still wanted to be in the room we originally booked and explained this to reception. The next day, they were very helpful and lovely with swapping us back into the room we wanted to be in without any hesitation. The staff are all so lovely and helpful, which made our stay even better. We stayed in the swim up pool room which was 10/10, the pool is quite cold to begin with so perfect for a hot day. The room is nice and clean, but wouldn’t recommend walking around in white socks and with no socks on as the floor did appear to make our feet dirty. Apart from this, everything was outstanding. The food is excellent, such a variety of different foods to choose from and great for fussy eaters! Lovely stay and will be returning x

Back at our happy place. Yet again Sandy Villas did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived until our last day, everything was perfect. This is the fourth time we have been here and yet again they did not disappoint. All the staff are amazing, and it was great to see old friends and make new ones. Everyone from the housekeeping staff, bar staff, reception, waiters, kitchen and management remembered us and we were treated as family and not guests. The food is amazing and we immediately noticed the impact the new chef has made since we were last here in October. Entertainment was first class and the singers during the week had the place rocking and dancing, everything from opera to disco, swing, jive and Abba. The selection across the nights was great. Have met some lovely people from across the globe, and even although we did not all speak a common language, that was no barrier to the fun we had. Can't wait to come back, and have already booked for October 2024 and 2025. Some nice changes happening to the hotel and some ambitious plans ahead. This is truly our happy place when not at home.

This was our first time here and it lives upto its 5 star rating. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the room we had was large with a pool view and a large balcony. The whole of the staff couldn't do enough for us, everyone had a smile. The mini bar was topped up every day and as this was included with the price of holiday as an all inclusive deal and we will be more than happy for a return visit.

The whole experience was really good! The staff members are so kind and helpful and a feeling of comfort and relaxation was instant on arrival. The resort is clean and food was really good too offering a variety of different cuisines. Overall really happy with the holiday and would definitely recommend visit.

On arrival we were given a free upgrade to one of the villas, private pool ect. Staff are absolutely amazing here, there’s nothing they wouldn’t do. Particular thanks to babios (I think I spelt that right) Christos, very welcoming, always a smile on his face and of course all the girls on reception that were on hand 24/7 to help with anything. Fantastic customer service, could not fault it. Rooms all clean and tidy with plenty of extras such as a sewing kit, all toiletries shampoo, conditioner, body wash ect. Fully stocked. Food is delicious, all meat cooked to perfection and plenty of selection & all waiters and waitresses absolutely lovely. Couldn’t recommend here enough, definitely recommend and worth every penny.

We had 2 fantastic relaxing weeks at Kairaba. The thing that really made it for us was the staff, who were so pleasant, helpful and friendly. Special mentions to Vasso at the pool bar and Baris in the restaurant, who looked after us so well. Our room and the surroundings were great and we loved our swim up pool, although it was a little chilly! We would recommend it to anyone who wants to just chill out and not do much at all.

We have been back a week and wish we were back there. Some of the same staff as last year and that was really lovely as we had such a warm welcome. Telis and Nikoleta in pool bar - fantastic service and always smiling. Then the waiters in the dining hall - they were all so nice and polite and happy to chat even though they had work to do. Food was excellent as always. Will definitely return

This a hotel that has been built after we first visited Agios Georgious in 2013. We have visited at least twice a year to come 'home' to the staff who originally worked at Aquis Sandy Beach. We love their friendly welcome at all times and miss some of them that have moved to Kariba. Vaso in the beach bar is amazing always has a smile and works hard. Our visit would not be as pleasant if we did not go to see her.
