Es war ein schönes Hotel mit netten Personal die Lage war auch super 15 Minuten Gehweg und man ist in der Stadt und die Zimmer und die Terrasse waren super. Sein Geld zu 100% wert.

If you just want a quick break on a budget this is the place. It's a bit run down and a bit of a walk into main town but it has a pool although it's right on main road and exposed to passing traffic and people! Breakfast is cold selection of processed meat and cheese tinned fruit and instant tea and coffee. Rooms are basic but have little balcony.

The location is a little out from the centre of town, but we didn't mind, as we like walking and the exercise did us good. The area around the hotel felt quite rural which was nice. We'd greet the local residents on our way into town each day. Cats are a feature here (I like, you may not). Along with ourselves, the other visiting tourist 'cat people' would help in feeding them every day. Some of the rooms are basic. That's okay with us though, as we don't require much and it's not expensive. Our room was a 'basement' (slightly below ground level) one with a separate bedroom with good air-con, a tiny bathroom (no complaints) and a kitchen/living area. An unused hotel was at the back of the room. The cats were the first to greet us in the morning. They'd arrive at the front door and patio. Breakfast was a simple, adequate and tasty affair, i.e. traditional Greek. We were content with what we received. This was self-served in a bright clean dining room at the front of the hotel. An outdoor patio spilled out from there and could be used for eating. We met and chatted to so many people from all around Europe. A Dutch couple and a Belgian/French family were repeat guests. Bicycles can be cheaply rented from the owner/manager, a quiet yet friendly gentleman. Cycling is a pleasure here due to the relative flat terrain of Kos town. There were a couple of ladies working at the hotel. I think one was the man's wife (co-owner) and the other, the assistant manager? And of course, the cleaning ladies. I can't remember any names, but all were very nice and made us feel welcome. I've been to Zakynthos and Crete (twice), but so far, Kos and particularly Kos town, is my favourite. The Leonidas Hotel didn't disappoint either. I found the immediate surrounding area, the hotel itself and the accommodating staff all very charming.

Stayed here for a week in July, very very basic, one socket in room with everything plugged In to it. ( bit dangerous if you ask me) the room is advertised as a self catering studio apartment. This made me laugh two plates two bowls two cups, a hand full of mixed cutlery, no cooking utensils no pots or pans, one frying pan, ( don't know what we were supposed to make) small kettle enough to squeeze maybe two cups out of it, the bathroom was very small, the shower you got scalded or freezing no Happy medium, they also say they provide an iron and a hairdryer, ( you don't get any). The view we had was looking our to what can only be described as a derelict hotel, where under the cover of darkness the youngsters hang out drinking inside it, pretty noisy, the hotel is only a 2 star but I'd rate it a 1 star. It just wasn't for me, no atmosphere at all, no music very limited alcohol at the bar, also a bit of a walk to actually get to the town, down a long dusty road, where you pass the coos, the bulls the chickens, and the fields are littered with rubbish, first visit to Kos, and probably my last, but if you like being a bit out of town and relax all day by a pool then this is definitely the holiday for you, and you also like cats, there's hunners of them. Enjoy.

We've just returned from 10 nights. Leon is lovely/helpful. Beds really comfortable, and everywhere exceptionally clean. Pool is lovely and quiet and spotless. very close to tavernas, old town, beaches.

Great little hotel, ideally located just a short walk to beach bars or a little further into Kos town. Leon and the team will look after you well. The place kept spotless and breakfast is good. Nice place to relax by the pool as well, there are plenty of sun beds. We had a great stay. Thanks to Leon, Sofia, Olga, Jana, Manos and the rest of the team

Very simple, but all clean. Friendly staff. Good location. We did not have breakfast but it looked nice. Love the many cats at the hotel. Very helpful staff with transport. One chair was broken but was replaced immediately.

Location was far and in deserted area. No shampoo, no conditioner. Rooms are too old and basic.

Leon the owner, is fantastic and can't do enough to make your stay perfect. The rooms though basic are extremely clean and comfy. The rooms are cleaned daily and the cleaning staff are always happy and helpful. Great location being located close enough to lampi beach and Kos town, but far enough out for peace and quite. There is a lovely pool with bar serving cheap drinks and food. This hotel is a diamond find and we've booked for next year already.
