Aqua Blu Boutique Hotel & Spa, Adults Only- Small Luxury Hotels of the World

We were in a mindset that was not good. When We arrived after a couple of bad hotels in Greece. So we didn’t have the best start on our holiday. For more info read the other reviews. So for this place to make us this happy. We can only say thank you. It was amazing and you saved our holiday. I recommend you all getting room 106 (last room with private pool and the end of the hallway. Way. This is just amazing. Rooms and hotel looks brand new. Only thing that could be better was if they had a chrome cast for the tv, maybe a better tv and better sound in the room. But still we were so happy with the rooms. The spa was good and really nice. The private pool was amazing. But we tried 2 other rooms also and they were all great. The main area with a pool and bar was also amazing. Best sun beds I ever tried. And there’s enough for all guest. Food in the bar was also really good and fair prices. Try their gyros And you have to try the bread in the bar. Wau. I’m from Denmark where we really enjoy the chemistry behind a good bread. And they really just baked the most amazing bread. We ended up eating there e wry day because of the bread. Breakfast was also really good. The only thing that could be better. Is they didn’t have the amazing bread for breakfast. But only a standard bread. Service was perfect. They are all really nice. Almost to nice. 😅 Beach is close and amazing. And you can take a bus 5 min to the main city. If you go to Kos I think this is by far the best hotel experience you can get. Remember to ask the hotel to fix a car from the airport. The taxis on the island are expensive and you will wait for 40 min J

After a 12 hour flight delay we were somewhat frazzled on arrival! However, we were very quickly enjoying Aqua Blu’s first class standard of service and that welcoming drink was very much appreciated! All the team, without exception, are friendly and attentive from the moment you step out of your taxi! Our room had a side sea view, the most comfortable of beds and kept in immaculate order throughout our stay. Even the hairdryer, which in my experience are usually dreadful, performed well! The pool area is very chilled and we had the happiest person, Cristal, who made sure we were well looked after. Whilst the bar menu is not extensive, the food is beautifully presented and tasty. Breakfast was served on an airy terrace, extensive buffet choice and an al a carte option. We did not eat at Cuvee, but did enjoy the Greek BBQ buffet on the Monday evening. The hotel itself is around 20 minutes walk from Kos town. Lena on reception organised bikes for us to hire, great fun! All in all, a wonderful experience. Thankyou to everyone at Aqua Blu.

This was our 10th stay at The Aqua Blu, we were privileged to be the first Guests of 2024. Welcomed by the wonderful staff, then offered a lovely homemade lemonade, delicious on a warm day, and a selection of nibbles from the Chef. Our room was large and bright, we had a decorative flower on the bed, a delicious plate of fruit and a bottle of wine. We spent the first afternoon by the pool, we had the whole hotel to ourselves, many thanks to Alvin, Olympia and the Barman who kept supplying us with Lemonade. We ate at the Hotel Bar on the first evening, we chose Mousaka, it was the best I have ever eaten, so tasty, it went so well with the Greek Salad. We ate at The Curve Restaurant on our last evening, it is so special, the attention to detail is impeccable and the food is like Michelin Star, a real treat, the service and food are outstanding. The bed is so large and comfortable, I never have any trouble falling asleep. Breakfast has a large variety to chose from, cereals, smoothies, fruit, continental, etc, and also a menu with eggs cooked anyway you desire, all delicious and served in the dining area with a view of the sea. The Hotel is very beautiful, the service is excellent, the staff is very polite, and the room is very modern with all the facilities. We had the best dinner in the restaurant of the Hotel Cuvee, with unique tastes. The swimming pool area is very nice, and we had very nice cocktails.

Aqua Blu… One of the top hotels in kos town. The beach right in front of you. The room was the best I have ever stayed in my life. Staff always there to assist! Kos town 15 minutes with bike. There is a bicycle road which is amazing. Food and drinks high quality! All in all an amazing experience. Thank you❤️

The shows are the greatest thing of the night and u can get busses to the beach and back and this is the best place for kids to stay and all of the slides are the best to go on and If u want to put ur kids In kids club u can trust Taz to keep them safe there where they also do all types of activities.

We were in a room with it's own pool which was much bigger than expected but at a depth of 1m 50cm meant you could not stand in it and read your book (or in my case even stand up in it!) There is a very narrow walkway between the pools to get to the sun bed at the end. If you have mobility issues you probably won't be able to walk along the edge. The sunbed is in full sun for a lot of the day with very little shade which is such a shame and very easy for the hotel to fix. Breakfast is very good with an extensive menu that is cooked to order. The beach is across the road that is beside the public beach but that was never a problem for us. The location of the hotel means it is very windy on most days. 30/40 minute walk into Kos town which is well worth a visit or two. The hotel is also near several good bars and tavernas, so worth exploring. The main hotel pool is quite large (again depth 1m 50cm in most places). We went in September when the water was warm (heated by the sun).

The hotel is beautifully clean, the food delicious, the staff meticulous in their way of working and very professional in their duties, but hey there is more! We spent a week in this wonderful hotel which was only marred by my wife having an unfortunate accident at a different location, which reduced her mobility by 90%. The staff went out of their way to be friendly, give support when needed and always with a smile and a caring word, From the reception staff, through the maids and the restaurant team all made us feel welcome. A special thanks to Mr Kostas Zampetakis (Hotel Manager) for his help during the week, his support and for guiding me to his special dish for my last meal at the hotel. My wife after our return had an Operation to resolve the issue. It is truly a wonderful location with very special People. Thank you!

What a beautiful hotel and the staff and service are absolutely amazing (special thanks to Krystal). The rooms are modern and spacious, and laying by the pool is perfect place to relax. It’s walking distance to town centre but there are plenty of bars and restaurants on the hotels doorstep.
