Divi Flamingo Beach Resort

This was our second trip to the Divi in BonAire! We travel with Rob Harris & Island Hoppers and it’s always an amazing trip. The management staff is so welcoming and they are easily accessible at all times. The resort is beautiful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food is wonderful! Darinka made our breakfast for us every day at Divi and she is a true gem! The diving is why we come and it is absolutely phenomenal every time. Ruud & Denise, our weeks dive masters, go above and beyond and they make each and every dive awesome! We are looking forward to the new dive dock being put in place soon and hopefully will be ready when we plan to return in April 2024! We would highly recommend the Divi to any diver coming to BonAire!

This is the hidden treasure that you are looking for!! Charm! No crowds! Restraunts, ocean and town, museum, shoppes, steps away. The staff were unbelievable! So friendly and kind. I felt at home upon arrival. It's perfect for divers but it was perfect for me as a non diver as well. Really great location!

A great hotel. The snorkeling was fantastic. The personal were all very friendly. The room was also very Nice and clean also the bathroom. Ik is a short walk to Kralendijk. Everything is very good. Also the restaurants are very good. I recommend this hotel to all of you

What a great experience on Bonaire ! From The moment you arrived you get welcome by friendly staff with a great smile At the front desk you get the best service by O**ar who help you daily with great experience and best attitude. Then you get Ginella manager who is attentive to all details from front desk to accommodations and any other detail you need, an amazing woman with the best attitude friendly and ready to help you anyway she can. Then you have daily amazing breakfasts with Ricardo who takes care of any detail you may need at the table and greet you with such positive attitude that you start the day with a great smile. Then you go to the dive shop( for any snorkel or diving needs) and you find Poppy who is more than amazing she finds what you need help you with any detail has the best customer service I encountered in any dive shop on the world they couldn’t get a more efficient and helpful person there The deluxe rooms recently renovated with every perfect touch with great views of the ocean made you feel you are in the best vacation ever. Then you meet the Manager a wonderful woman Celine with a great personality and make sure every customer has a great experience and is very happy there. I can’t get better experience any where else. There is many resorts in Bonaire but not as great as this one. You will not find anywhere a staff as friendly and happy to help you as this resort. I give them more than 5’. I recommended to all my friends family and customers.

Good snorkeling from pier easy to get in the water and saw lots of colorful fish. Downside very very small beach.

Location was amazing . Facility is tired however they are doing construction to update it. Food pricing is too high for quality. Shore snorkeling is awesome. Nice pools.

This was our third visit to Divi Flamingo Resort in the past 7 years. Each time we came we were part of a very large dive group. Our first visit 7 years ago was pleasant and there were no issues. Our second visit was in 2022 and a third of our dive group contracted COVID during our stay. We only got in 4 days of diving until the resort closed down diving for the last couple of days. Although we paid for 18 dives, we only got to dive 12 dives. We were not refunded for the dives we didn’t get to take. We just returned from our third trip with our dive group to Divi Flamingo. We were notified the check out time was 10 am which was ludicrous. On the day before we were to checkout, my husband and I spoke with the manager asking if we could possibly get a late room checkout because he had a virtual business call or could the manager arrange a room on the premises where he could take the call in a quiet environment. The manager told us we would have to pay an additional $25 per hour to stay in our room and he also said he could not tell us if any other meeting rooms were available at that time. It was quite disappointing the manager was not more helpful in my husband’s circumstance. Our dive group has been coming to Divi Flamingo with a large group sometimes 2x a year bringing in huge revenue to the resort, for the past 25 years! Being asked to pay $25 per hour for a late check out is extremely petty when the resort makes a lot of money off our large group. Additionally, some of the staff at the resort were extremely polite while others were very rude. On the third day when we checked in at breakfast, the hostess insisted we have our room key card information even though we were with our dive group. We had not been asked for this on the previous days. She berated us and told us we had to go back to the room and get it. She then said she would remember us the rest of our visit, but she didn’t and asked us for it everyday. Honestly, this third visit left us with the feeling we may not return to Divi Flamingo again with our dive group. Why would we when we could spend our money in other diving resorts who appreciate the visitors?

The divi flamingo is a great place and all sorts of ways. The rooms are a great views were wonderful snorkeling was phenomenal the staff was friendly and it was close enough to town we could just walk in and find all sorts of great restaurants. Really enjoyed my stay there.
