This hotel’s location is truly ideal for exploring the area. While the facilities have a nostalgic, slightly dated feel, they are exceptionally clean and well-kept. The hotel does a wonderful job of preserving its traditional cultural atmosphere. A standout was the Japanese breakfast—it was not only delicious but also served with a strong sense of ritual, making each morning feel special and authentic. The most memorable feature, however, was the private garden. During this season, it was exceptionally serene and beautiful, like a living painting that invites you to immerse yourself in its peace. I highly recommend staying here for a unique and culturally rich experience.

Great location for easy tourist traps. Very crowded of tourist from all parts of the world. Very scenic area, very close to the bamboo forest. Cafe Takahashi around the corner would be my go to place to have good food.

Hotel is in exciting location for living and walking around. Fabulous river. Cozy hotel. A little bit retro but stylish. Friendly staff. Very quiet and cleam room. Everyday cleaning was excellent. Interesting Japanese breakfast. Tasty strong coffee. Matres and pillow were too hard for me.

The location is good, but the whole facility is out of date. We booked Tatami room with over 2400hkd(without breakfast and dinner), and the hotel doesn't provide drinking water, you need to buy them from vending machine..... The onsen is old and small, inside but strangely you can see dead insects floating in the water......meanwhile you can pay very little money for nice public Onsen close to the Bridge. Checking in hour is 3pm but checking out is 10am, we regretted we wasted one night here, and won't recommend anyone to come.

We booking 4futons bedroom but they allow to use it only2!! If need more futon bed we have to pay!! It’s nonsense. In room is not clean have a lot of dust and that room can smell smoking very terrible.. but staff at restaurant so nice very good service. And we thought all same will not come here again.. reception cannot speak English so very hard to communicate

非常棒的酒店，服務非常的好，房間也很不錯，周邊環境也非常好，酒店地理位置優越，庭院特別美，以後還會來體驗楓葉季入住的感覺。整體真的非常棒，餐食也好吃，餐廳的阿姨非常熱情，服務很周到。特別誇下前台，在我們打不到車無助的時候，給了我們很大的幫助，並幫忙和司機溝通，最終到了我們想去的地方，特別感謝前台🙏
