Hotel Tavinos Kyoto

Stayed here 3 nights with my wife during the Sakura season. The best part about this hotel was it's location. It's near the gojo station and within walking distance of kiyomizu temple and popular restaurants in shijo. But the room was really small and at times we missed a wardrobe or a counter. Also there was no rook service during the 3 days. Had to clear our own trash. But towels can be requested daily.

Very cute hotel....good location with walking distance to several metro. Can also walk to Gion (20 min) and major shopping area (15 minutes). Nice theme with lobby on third floor with free snacks. However no individual kettle in room (need to go to third floor) but the lobby is connected to its own big 7/11!!

Unique designed hotel with very a good location situated at Gojo street. Easy to travel around the various tourist attractions in Kyoto. Room is small but very comfortable.

Excellent service with decent room. There is enough room under the bed for our opened luggage. The breakfast bar is free with some limited choices (it’s free after all) of bread and coffee. The room is very clean and they provide clean towel every morning. Convenient location. About 15 minutes walk to Kiyomizu temple. Less than 30 minutes walk to most of the main transportation stations. If you take the bus, it takes less than 15mins. But the walk along the way is very comfortable and chill especially during winter so we preferred the walk. With this price, there’s no thing to pick on. Would definitely book this hotel again if I go to Kyoto again.

Loves the location and cute room, small room but comfortable, the hotel provided breakfast, coffee and mini croissants. Loves the staff, attentive good attitude and responsive. Hotels provided luggage storage service, bus stop Kawaramachi Gojo in front of hotel, 24h Fresco supermarket opposite the hotel, its really convenient highly recommended ….

Love their luggage storage facilities. Able to store before and after check in safely. Room is small but still ok. Just dont like their auto sensor light that need to wait 1-2 minutes to off itself

Truly enjoyed my stay at Tavinos Kyoto. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the stay is comfortable and pleasant. The rooms are a little small but it has everything you need. Baggage storage is available as the hotel as well. However, note that the hotel does not provide daily cleaning services. Hotel is well situated and relatively near Kyoto station.
