This hotel has been in the hands of RV hotels for a couple of years now and whilst we very much miss the staff under the old management I have to admit it's now very smart and comfortable. The rooms are spotless, beds comfortable and views over the med incredible. We've been having the odd few days here for around 20 years & I suspect will continue to do so. Honestly can't fault it.

A great budget hotel - service staff and rooms excellent. Big pool area with lots of loungers. A very relaxing place. We would be perfect for older people as the have everything you need even a great step to get into the pool. Food was ok basic but good for the price. Would stay again but not take food option.

Nice big room. Nice breakfast. Two issues: onsite parking was full by mid-afternoon; and a queen size bed turned into two double. Had to park quite ways away on the street. Hotel staff appeared to be aware of the insufficient onsite parking situation but there wasn't anything they could do about it.

This hotel does everything right. Excellent location just a short walk (5 minutes) to town or a 10 minute walk to Platja de Riells. Staff is friendly & helpful. Breakfast is really good as is the pool area We had an issue with the air conditioning not working so they moved us immediately to the adjacent room with the same spectacular sea views. This is top notch service. Do not hesitate to stay here. It’s wonderful and you’ll have a great time. L’Escala is charming and the Cami de Ronda trails are close & accessible. Great stay !!

We loved this experience. The staff were professional but friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Lots of choice. The pool was all we hoped for . We will be back . We we have recommended this hotel alreay to friends

We stopped by for an overnight stay and were primarily attracted by the reasonable room rates and availability offered. I was led to believe we would have 'partial sea views', however this was definitely not the case. Our room was 118 and towards the rear of the hotel. A really well apponted room, recently renovated with lots of room for luggage and bags. Comfortable beds and good quality fittings. The swimming pool was a definite winner and surprisingly deep. We ate out for the evening and enjoyed a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. A decnt assor**ent of english and continental breakfast available. The dining area was not as lavish as the room but was of no real importance. Secure and reasonabley priced offstreet parking was available and gratefully accepted.

It was excellent. I have been staying in L’Escala for many years but have never stayed in the Nieves Mar and have to say it was excellent, great room, great breakfast and good pool and outdoor area

Really, really disappointed. I’ll start with the positives - Our view was beautiful- couldn’t fault it…. It was my partners birthday, they made the room lovely - champagne, rose petals & chocolate. The place itself was stunning albeit nothing to do but that’s fine, we wanted quiet. The room however STANK like raw sewage, we were in room 401 & the bathroom was absolutely disgustingly potent. Our floors weren’t cleaned, the balcony wasn’t cleaned & toilet rolls weren’t regularly replenished. Staff were borderline rude, not polite in the slightest and just miserable. Not approachable at all. The breakfast was average, queues for coffee were ridiculous and felt like we were in gods waiting room for most of the week. One word of advice? Don’t visit if your under the age of 65. Unless of course you like old peoples homes. One member of staff (the lifeguard) was the only member of staff we had a conversation with and who made an effort with his customers. I definitely wouldn’t return to this hotel and it’s a shame because the credentials for an amazing hotel are there

We have stayed here before but the hotel has been re-furbished over the Pandemic we think. We had a Junior suite which had a nice view.. woke up to the view of the sea from my bed every morning. Walking distance to the beach or the lovely little area for food at night time. The only down side is the coffee... awful.. but loved everything else.
