Hotel Lois

Hotel Lois is located in the city center close to the harbor and the main plaza, Praza de María Pita. The room is stark white with a modern vibe, plenty of storage space, but short on outlets. The room is furnished with a comfortable queen sized bed and a small desk. There was a safe but it was locked. The Wi-Fi connection wasn’t working at first but once we found the right person they were able to reboot it. With the windows closed the room is quiet and dark. The bathroom was good sized for a Euro bathroom, but this may not be standard as it was equipped with fixtures for the disabled. The shower had good hot water and pressure. Not much counter space but a small table next to the sink. The hotel also offers a discount at the nearby Cantones Parking garage, 12 Euros per night instead of 24. The breakfast buffet is good for a hotel of this size and quality including a selection of sliced and whole fruit, cheese and charcuterie, house-made sweets, bread and jams, boxed cereal, bread, nuts and dried fruit, packaged pastry, yogurt and fresh squeezed orange juice. Good coffee is individually made and brought to the table.

Just spent 6 nights in this lovely little hotel in a perfect position in la coruna on the edge of the old town busy streets of bar and restaurants, we had the superior double with a balcony on the top floor which was a suite with sofa ,air con etc and we loved it , a few downsides when you sat on the balcony there was a large office block just across the street that overlooked you so didnt feel as relaxing as it should be when sitting outside. one night we were woken very early by the seagulls dancing on the glass roof above the hallway but this luckily for us was just one night .breakfast buffet was good with great freshly made coffees ,but the only reason i gave this hotel 4 and not 5 stars was the man in charge pablo was just not very friendly with us ,he was very helpful if we asked him for any advice but not once in six days did he engage in any conversation even when serving us breakfast when we were the only 2 customers. he probably did not like me but small hotels are normally known for friendliness but i would still recommend this hotel

Het onthaal was zeer vriendelijk. Het eten in het restaurant was lekker en verzorgd. Goede bediening. De kamer en badkamer waren zeer klein en het bed had scherpe kanten waar men tegen kon lopen. Dit geeft de nodige verwondingen. De wifi is 0. Het ontbijt was ok.

a los dos minutos de llegar a este hotel me di cuenta que me encontraria bien, los propietarios unas excelentes personas, para abreviar me encontre como en mi propia casa, les digo al proximo ano, sin olvidar que esta muy bien situado y precios correctos

El hotel es muy agradable. Y su anfitriona, Mari, también. Se encuentra situado muy cerca de las principales atracciones de la encantadora ciudad de La Coruña. La calidad del descanso es muy buena y el desayuno que sirven es variado y muy bueno. La atención es cordial y los tips compartidos con los clientes, también. Es posible cenar platos tradicionales en su restaurant. Este hotel es muy recomendable.

El lugar es acogedor y está muy bien ubicado. Dispone de todo lo necesario para un buen descanso. El desayuno es excelente. Y la atención de Mari, la anfitriona, es de lo mejor. Además, se puede cenar comida tradicional gallega en su agradable restaurant. Sin lugar a dudas, volvería a alojarme, Lo recomiendo a los viajeros que visiten esta ciudad maravillosa.
