The location was good and the resort had nice facilities. However the resort looks a bit outdated.

Friendly stafff - the Junior suite w/our own private patio area and outdoor thermal jacuzzi was pretty sweet!

The property grounds are beautiful! The multiple hot springs and the pool are wonderful! Especially since they are only available to hotel guests which means that they are not crowded. The Sura restaurant is great for all meals. We ate there for almost every meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner)! The staff is very friendly and helpful too.
The only suggestion I have for the property management is to get bigger televisions for the room with better cable (more English channels for international guests would be greatly appreciated). The rooms are clean and spacious.
It’s great to stay in La Fortuna to get the rainforest experience! This resort is very close to a multitude of great activities!

This property is more like a Motel6 not a resort. The room was very outdated, small, doors were open when we arrived (bugs), Stains on bedding, chairs, windows dirty. The “private thermal spring” in the backyard was luke warm at best and there was an awful smell out there. We walked around the Spring area and it was dirty, muddy all around and not appealing at all. The restaurant and pool area looked ok but definitely mediocre. We checked out within an hour and booked at another nearby resort that was much better. The front desk assistant was helpful to get us out of there as fast as possible. I suggest you walk this resort BEFORE you unload your car as parking is not ideal to get to/from the room. Will not ever return.

We had a fantastic time 7 years ago and it was just as wonderful this time. We love the hot pools the poolside service and all the wonderful birds. What surprised us was the food. The snacks and lunch food were excellent but it was the dinner that amazed.You must try the mushroom beef pasta; it’s beyond great and the seafood dishes were wonderful too

The hotel was sitting on a magnificent wide property with a lovely pool area, restaurant that had fantastic breakfast buffet and a spring pools. From the restaurant you can have your meal and look right at the Arenal mountain at its glory. Although the hotel has a capacity of many gusts, one can have a complete privacy and peacefulness and relaxation. Good location to get out at evening for dinner in town of Fortuna.
