Terra Dominicata - Hotel & Winery

We enjoyed every moment of our stay and did not want to leave. The hotel is beautifully built, integrating perfectly into the larger landscape. The rooms are well sized and outfitted with everything you need to relax. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We also loved the on site wine tasting. It was a great introduction to Priorat and we appreciated the attention to detail, to include the high end glassware.

We booked a suite, which was very spacious. However, there is no view and if we left our curtains open we were exposed to anyone walking by. There was either privacy or daylight. We would have expected a much nicer outlook given the money it costs, and the beautiful location. It seems this is a poor design aspect without the enjoyment of guest in mind. The rest of the property is lovely, a nice terrace to enjoy the view and the food at the restaurant was always very nice and well presented. There were times we had to look for staff when wanting a drink so I don’t think the service is quite up to the prices charged at this stage.

This is one of the very best hotels we've ever stayed in: Priorat has wild scenery, but the most refined wines and olive oil. The restaurant at Terra Dominicata doesn't stop there, but creates wonderful dishes that are at or very near perfection.

The most beautiful, quaint luxury hotel we've ever experienced! The staff is unbelievably kind and accommodating- always providing the freshest food and warmest hospitality. My husband and I are hoping to return again someday for a longer stay...until then, we will be dreaming of our relaxing getaway at Terra Dominicata!

We stayed here for one night as part of Mrs RandwickBakery's upgraded spanish holiday. The junior suite that we stayed in was one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in - everything was perfect, comfortable and spotlessly clean. A light lunch and dinner from the restaurant were both of the highest quality, and the evening meal was particularly good. A simple dish of Rabbit with Rice retain its simple roots yet also appear to be michelin standard was just one of the highlights. The extensive wine list offered something for every pocket. Whilst Mrs RB relaxed by the pool I walked down the farm track into Escaladei for an equally relaxing wine tasting. It's a very good way to appreciate the climate and terroir in which the Priorat grapes as grown. Lastly the staff were simply amazing - Salva, Maria, Ana, and the others - thank you very much for ensuring we had such a great stay. We will return here in the future for a longer stay.

Well where to start… from the moment you arrive the staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel exudes a relaxed style but without being pretentious. A little place of calm in a busy world. Being a wine hotel we was a little concerned that there would be a hard sell of its wine, but not in the slightest. It truly is a place of calm and relax. The hotel offers a free wine tour with your stay, you can walk around the vineyards and also free yoga. The rooms have everything you would want, with a stylish laid back feel. The interior design is first class and very spacious. The bed was large and comfy. The hotel restaurant was good, food excellent and a great wine list. The oxtail bite was a little surprise, so delicious. I cannot praise this hotel enough, we will be back again for sure. It is everything you would want and more.
