Clos des Lavandes - Luberon

Pros - the garden is gorgeous. Lavender, olive trees, fig trees, each room has a lovely seating area but there are also many in the garden as well as a fountain. Lovely place to relax. The room was big and there is a small fridge, microwave, fireplace and fan (no AC but it stayed cool enough even in the extreme heat). Bed very comfortable. The location is very convenient (use the GPS co ordinates). There is great parking and good wifi. Cons - The woman at reception laughed at me when I came in hot and tired from the road. I did not appreciate this. There was only one towel in the room. Yes I am one person but typically two towels are provided, which helps with hair washing etc. I am gluten free and at breakfast I was handed a bag containing five rice crackers. I appreciated the effort made but I had just been to the market and purchased a beautiful loaf of gluten free bread, gorgeous goat cheese, heirloom tomatoes, olives and peaches. I was glad to have taken this step of self care to enjoy my own beautiful Provencal breakfast. Even without this, with due respect I did not think the breakfast provided was very good (not even a lavender tisane? Verbena tea?) - some sad apples, basic cheese, salami and small pastries. I would encourage others to benefit from the bounty of the Luberon by shopping at the market as I did for your own wonderful picnic meal and not get stuck on the “free breakfast”.

La villa in cui sono ricavate le camere e’ molto bella, il giardino molto accogliente e in generale il luogo e’ molto silenzioso. La camera e il bagno erano entrambi ben pulite. Ci ha un po’ sorpreso l’organizzazione della colazione: per le due notti in cui siamo rimasti, era tutto stato preparato in precedenza nel frigo a disposizione all’interno della camera. A parte quattro dolci e un formaggino freschi, il resto era tutto cibo preconfezionato.

Mignon, hôte tres gentil, petit déjeuner agréable, mais chambre ( en tout cas la notre) tres vieillotte, poor quality vraiment…salle de bain à rafraîchir sérieusement, insonorisation des chambres inexistante, mobilier épouvantable. Aucune prise à côté du lit pour charger un téléphone ou quoi que ce soit…) À 140€, la nuit en moyenne saison, il y a mieux…

Un séjour au calme dans un très joli lieu. Un très bon accueil de la part de la propriétaire qui nous apprend avec passion l’histoire de la région. Chambre confortable (juste il manquerait un tout petit peu d’insonorisation), ravissant jardin et petite terrasse privée . Un village superbe. Je recommande !!!

La struttura è una villa nella bella campagna del Luberon vicina al paese, con un bel giardino e poche stanze dotate di ingresso indipendente e un dehors, arredate con buon gusto e un tocco "provenzale". C'è molta tranquillitá e la posizione è molto strategica per visitare i vari villaggi e le attrazioni della zona. I gestori sono gentilissimi, affabili e discreti. La colazione ottima. Parcheggio gratuito all'interno. Ci torneremo!

Il nous semblait que dans l'esprit des chambres d'hôtes,il y avait la notion d'hôte, mais visiblement cela a disparu de la façon de recevoir des propriétaires de cet établissement. Nous avions réservé et payé pour 2 nuits, mais pour des problèmes de santé pour nous même et nos enfants, nous avons eu un rdv médical d'urgence, qui ne nous permettait pas d'arriver avant 19h mais à 21h. Le gérant n'a fait preuve d'aucune souplesse, ni aucune adaptabilité, pour nous permettre de profiter du séjour dont nous nous réjouissions. C'est déplorable!

Siamo stati 5 notti in questa deliziosa casa provenzale con magnifico giardino. Immersa nel verde e nel silenzio. Ogni stanza aveva il suo angolo esterno con tavolo e sedie. Tutto pulitissimo e ordinato. Colazione ottima. I proprietari molto disponibili e cordiali. Consigliatissimo.
