Recently stayed here for a quick getaway in Lake George, and while you’re not going to find 5-star luxury right on the lake, this spot is great. Lakefront accommodations are usually a bit dated, but this place stood out for being clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and they thoughtfully provided all the essentials (not just your basics). I especially loved having access to the on-site kayak and paddle board, which made for some fun on the water. The beach is small, but it’s perfect for cooling off with a quick dip on a hot summer day. They also have a nice pool and restaurant on the premises, though we didn’t get a chance to use them because of our short stay. The front desk staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, it’s a great option for a laid-back, relaxing stay by the lake!

Wonderful stay, we had only booked one night but when we saw the place and all the activities there, we had to book one extra night. Very friendly staff. Big difference between the rooms though. We looked at two that were absolutely gorgeous and one cabin style that needs renovations. We will come back to stay on our next trip to Lake George

First time staying at this resort and definitely won’t be our last. We already booked our stay for next year which in return they gave us a discount for booking same unit. The beach is super clean and shallow perfect for kids to play and not have to worry about being on top of them. Most hotels in the area are run down with crappy furniture but Depe Dene is not!!! Beach chairs and umbrella are in great condition. Beds were comfortable. Units are super clean and spacious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have so much to do on the property, kayaks, ping pong, basketball, canoes, volleyball playgrounds and so much more! They even have a laundry room on site. Deli across the street, restaurant next door, vending machine in lobby which is super convenient. My only complaint was not being able to stay for longer lol

Fun for all ages at the resort. Staff service was great whenever needed. Bring your own fire pit with stand and wood for nighttime bonfires. Take advantage of the lake beach, pool, sports, and nearby restaurant and deli. Not too many working washer/dryer but go late at night if needed.

Spacious and clean accommodations for my large family. The waterfront beach was beautiful and my family loved the water. We stayed in the 4 bedroom chalet which was a perfect size for my family of 10. The included grills were used for nightly dinners. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great time and great location

Just got back home from a week’s stay at DepeDene. We were a family of 10. We all had a great time. We had a 3 bedroom cabin and it was kind of tight but we expected that. They have a nice dock for boats. The office staff and maintenance were very professional. We’ll be back next year and hopefully every year after. Thank you Reily !!!!

Build stairs down to the beach is my only request. Cabins are being renovated nicely with good upgrades. A very friendly friends and family place. Close enough to the action yet far enough to be away from the noise, perfect location! Great vacation spot to enjoy the lake!

The efforts by the new owners were noticeable and appreciated by our whole family. That makes this incredible place even better and is surely the best place to stay on the lake. The beach situation is the only thing that needs to be addressed as it’s worse than a cruise ship but we bring a boat and did not affect us. Would liked to have spent a few days on the beach but maybe next year will be better . Keep up the good work and can’t wait for our next visit.
