Baymont by Wyndham Lakeland

No rooms were clean when got there so they upgraded our room to a suite which was very nice.

First of all when we arrived nobody in the front desk. Then after I did a check in they gave me a room number when I went there someday was there so scary open the door and see a big dog. When I went to the reception to tell them somebody is in the room the front desk lady didn’t be nice with me. Finally when I got another room there is no soap and little cockroaches there. When I am a check out nobody is there I have to left the card and write a note with my email for them send me the receipt and never got it. Never go back this hotel again

GREAT PLACE TO GET AWAY

when I booked the hotel through ******* it looked good. My family and I didn't expect that the hotel was in terrible condition. Even though it stated that it was going through new management and remodeling the rooms were not what we expected. The beds/ Mattresses were in bad condition lumpy and hard not comfortable, beds did not have blankets on them only sheets, the curtains were falling from the clips, the small sofa in the room was filthy with a stain on it really dirty, the bathroom in the room my husband and our two daughters slept it had mold you could see the mold around the bathroom door and ceiling. They did not have enough towels, the iron in the room the button was broken. Lastly housekeeping never came into our rooms (two rooms that I booked) to clean. We stayed 3days and they did not come to vacuum the floors or do our beds. I didn't think that we had to tell them to come do their job. Disappointed in this hotel. I hope that it does change and the remodeling and New management fixes all the negatives. Thank you Mr. And Mrs. Longoria

Had a reservation for a room and when i arrived the front desk worker was very rude in telling us that apparently even with a reservation they were full also didn't even bother to call to let me know.

Under renovation, new management , bugs everywhere. The staff was nice, but not enough of them. We checked out after 2 nights. Also much too close to interstate. Avoid if possible.

The place is dirty. The first room I was given was next to an inordinately loud ac unit. I asked to change rooms. The new room was ok. After I had unpacked everything and went to take shower, only the faucet worked. No water was coming out of the shower head. Also saw a roach on the wall.

Property needs major repairs or complete renovation. Rooms are dirty and dated and needs major renovation, bathrooms need renovations, carpet is dirty and dated. Elevator is dirty, floors are badly damaged, broken tiles, holes in the tiles. Property has roaches. I have pictures. I would not stay there again. Very substandard. There are signs that says repairs are being done. Not the sort of place that Wyndham would want to be associated with.

We checked in at 8, the lady at the desk was pleasant enough. She told us what our room number is but didn’t supply directions or a map as I’ve become accustomed to. Our room is a bit smaller than expected, and because they are “under new management” we got 1 towel and NO blankets for our stay. So I then had to go to the nearest Walmart to purchase a blanket to sleep with in the hotel. The bed was not the softest, so I woke up with a sore back. This is not what I’ve come to expect from baymont and this stay is not worth what I paid!
