I booked a suite, was put in a handicap room( which was fine) however the room from the beginning had a urine smell. I complained to the desk staff about it and they said they would have the room cleaned and have the carpets cleaned. The room after the “cleaning” still had a urine smell. We did not have daily cleaning or towel replacements, only on request. On my last night I had asked if there was any way I could get a percentage off my stay due to the smell and was told that because I had booked it through a third party there was nothing that could be done.
So basically I was stuck in a smelly room for 5 days and no way to get any money back. This is a real problem when going through a third party vendor.

Safety was a concern for the area, but we didn't see anything truly bad.

This is a superb hotel. It’s very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. I’ve enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well as the pool and gym.

Hotel is right off I5 south of Tacoma near Lewis-McCord, Air Force/Amry base. Easy access to freeway and Lakewood business. The staff, room size, and amenities met our expectations of Marriott properties during our 3 day stay. It is not a higher-end Marriott property. Outside parking and Breakfast available. Kitchen include in our room.

Room booked via ********** confirmed as having "FULL KITCHEN" and dinner food was purchased to cook in the room. Upon arrival the room had NO convectional Oven, but fortunately the outside BBQ was available and dinner saved ( dodging the rain showers)
Corridor carpets in need of cleaning ground floor.

Spent 3 nights, friendly staff and good service. With Covid, they only service the room on request, but they have started "breakfast" again which is included. Typical cold and hot choices, but good coffee. The exercise room was much appreciated. The outside fire pit is lit every night and is enjoyable.
