We were traveling back from Texas and Lamar was a good stopping point for us. We found the Nest Bed & Breakfast online while driving. We booked it and Jane was awesome: she called to check on our check in time, she met us when we got there, she had everything set up and some nice treats for us, asked what we wanted for breakfast and was genuinely awesome. We look forward to our next drive to Texas because we will stay with her again. What a great place.

The experience was like "coming home". The home decor is quaint and comfortable. The bathroom could be challenging for low mobility visitors. The room had loads if toys for young families, a nice movie selection, refrigerator with sodas and water and a nice piece of chocolate cake awaiting us. We would certainly love to return.

Charming and functional/comfortable aren't always found together in older homes, but it is in this property. Host Jane is great, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

Our Hostess was great! She was warm, friendly, and fun to interact with during our stay. Everything was well appointed and seasonally decorated. Great and enjoyable experience.

We appreciated her suggestion of the Mexican restaurant we ate at in Lamar. It was busy with local patrons which is always a good sign. The food was good and mid week prices great. My favorite memory was soaking in the claw foot tub and delicious GF pancakes for breakfast!

highly recommend, much better than a hotel stay. jane has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. she also was very accommodating and helped me adjust my dates. true hospitality.

3rd Street B&B is quaint and gorgeous. Jane, our hostess, greeted us and helped us get our luggage inside!!! She also is very accommodating, she was more than gracious to prepare and serve a very early breakfast for us on our request due to our schedule for that day, we needed to depart early .

Owner was very pleasant and professional, respectful and allowed for personal space. Willingly answered questions regarding history of home and locality plus gave help to navigate the community as needed.
