LIVVO Puerto de Mogán

Hotel LIVVO Puerto de Mogán An excellent medium size hotel right in the heart of the stylish “Bougainville Quarter” of the village It’s a few yards away from a wide selection of restaurants, bars , shops, etc … but the hotel food is so good that we ate in every night. I rate the quality of the food in the restaurant as one of the best in Mogan in it’s price range, far better than in other large hotels in the area. This is a very good hotel, especially for people who prefer to swim in the sea, or at the beach, as well as in a serviced swimming pool. The pool and restaurant is right at the water’s edge and you can walk down a few steps and drop into the refreshing but warm sea. The staff and service are friendly, helpful and efficient. We stayed in room 206, which had a beautiful view of the sea, the pool and the town beach. The balcony to sun from 08:30 to about 16:00 every day. The facilities are good quality, with a modern bathroom .. (but the in-room mini-fridge is so weak it can barely cool things ) The rooms with even numbers 202 to about 218 have sea and pool views, the rooms with uneven number 201 … 203 have fine views of the harbour and yachts at the front of the hotel (they might get more shade, which might not be such a bad thing given how sunny Mogan is). There is a stylish roof-top terrace for people who want to ‘ sun-grill ‘ themselves all day, or have a cocktail in the evening, and complementary tea and coffee is served to guests in the library area each day 4 – 5 pm. The hotel very helpfully allowed us to use the hotel after check-out at 12 mid-day (so last-minute swims were possible ! before we departed in the late afternoon ) and they even provided a time-slot to use the shower in the spa to change … But … be advised… The spa has no hair dryer !!, so surprised post-shower ladies with long hair tend to exit with unusual hair-styles ! We reckon this is the best hotel in Mogan.

Just had the most fantastic week here. We stayed in the self catering apartments, 178. The apartment was absolutely spotless and was extremely well equipped for a self catering apartment. The entire staff from reception to cleaners were so friendly. The whole area was very clean. Would highly recommend and we will be back. If you're looking for a very relaxing holiday, this is perfect. Thank you for a peaceful perfect holiday

Just had 10 days at Porto mogan hotel, what can I say fantastic, buttefull hotel, buttefull place, nothing to much trouble,will be back again. Staff lovely,rooms lovely, Porto mogan is a buttefull place, weather hot, food buffe, well presented, plenty of choice,, pool area nice, plenty of sun beds,.

We’re very familiar with the facilities at this hotel as for many years we’ve booked a superior apartment which gave us half-board and use of the pool. We thought we’d already found perfection - until we decided to stay in the hotel itself! The hotel really is a cut above. Whilst it might not have the size and opulence of the Cordial Mogán, it’s all the better for it. It’s bright, beautifully appointed, very comfortable and full of little touches that all add up to a fabulous experience. We booked a ground floor pool view room which had its own poolside terrace, loungers and a table and chairs which was fantastic. The fridge was filled with complementary soft drinks, water was replenished every day, and the Nespresso machine was a lovely touch. Maid service is daily and very thorough. The food is excellent. We chose to eat out for a number of evenings but the hotel take that into account and let you swap dinner for lunch which adds so much value. I had a superb Natura Bisse facial, and a full body massage during the stay which were both honestly superb, and rival many of the London top hotel spa treatments I’ve had over the years at a much lower cost. You need to book Elina in advance, but just message her and she will arrange a day and time to suit. With all this said, it’s the staff that really set this hotel apart. Everyone we met treated us like family; we didn’t need much but got the feeling that if we had they’d move heaven and earth to do it. As much as we love the apartments I know that we’ll always choose the hotel now.

This hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived everything was spot on the staff (Tamara, Josefa, the lady that welcomed us on our arrival so many brilliant staff all a credit to the hotel) the rooms and the view (we were Marina side), the food, Smoked salmon, Cavier and the wonderful honey 100% the best. Keep it up everyone. Oh one last thing my parents are coming back next year 😊

Had to say in a horrible apartment for 1 night because they messed up the booking. Then in the normal room I kept finding little bugs in the bed (not bed bugs). Shower not very big. Food and staff very nice though. They were very friendly at the buffet and very helpful.
