Hotel Aloe Canteras

Central for city and beach. You get a 30% discount on a nearside parking deck. The superior room had a view onto the beach. We missed shelf in the room closet to store the cloths. The water from the shower runs into the bath room. On the weekends it becomes also noisy in the hotel as the doors have a large gap. Hotel is good for up to 2 nights.

This is a great hotel in Las Palmas with a nice sea view of Las Canteras beach. Very good location. The hotel is very clean. No signs of bugs which is great. The shower was wonderful, the beds and pillows were excellent. The staff in the reception was welcoming and helpful. The rooftop bar has a great view. There is a minibar in the room and an espresso machine.

My wife and I live in Las Canteras Beach from January - March. On occasion we have dropped into the Aloe Hotel for drinks on the rooftop bar and my sister stayed there when visiting us. The hotel is very clean & the room my sister had was very spacious, modern & clean. The bar is pricier than the local beach bars but considering it's a hotel and the view from the rooftop.... not excessive. Now my main point..... right now my wife is suffering badly from sciatica and last week she was in tremendous pain trying to walk past the Aloe Hotel. We noticed the restaurant was extremely busy but thought about the rooftop bar if she could make it there for a seat. As we passed the restaurant we spoke to whom we believe is the head waiter, Jose, asking if it was possible to squeeze into the only empty small table by the window. We explained my wife's difficulty and that we just wanted a drink and her some short rest. He was absolutely excellent in accommodating us despite being in the middle of serving a very large group of diners. Thank you Jose.... you're a credit to the hotel and great example of the Spanish peoples' consideration for the elderly.

View to the left fine in front terrible. Only one elevator , after a long day we came home and it did NOT work. We stayed in the 7.floor! O.k. a drink on the house was offered. Frendly staff. But we would never again book this suite 703 because next tu us was a part of the rooftop bar and there was smoking allowed. Smoking should only be allowed on the 8. floor

We are just back from a week at this hotel over Chris**as period. Pros and cons: Pro's Very close to beach, restaurants, supermarket and amenities Friendly and helpful staff :) Rooftop bar, great cocktails with brilliant views (it gets very busy!) Enormous comfy bed and pillows Decent shower with plenty of hot water Large shower and twin sinks If only doing hand luggage like us (to save space) you can hire a beach towel for only €1 Safe in the room, lots of storage/hangers and kettle provided on request Netflix app on the room TV so you can log in when you're chilling out Wide variety at breakfast (hot food, bread and rolls, pastries, fruit, yoghurts etc) Cleaners were great and everything was spotless Con's We booked Half board which was a mistake, breakfast is done very well buffet style but dinner is another matter...seated at Rooftop terrace with no-one really knowing why we were there, very limited menus and what we did have was not great...however, (I don't know if it was a Chris**as thing) but they diverted us half way through our stay for dinners at a local restaurant which was amazing....so when we come back we would only book B&B All in all we had a brilliant stay at this hotel and the staff were lovely so we would def book again, only dropped one star for the dinner experience!

Excellent location next to Las Canteras beach. Very clean, lovely staff, comfortable room with a decent shower in the bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Also very quiet. Would definitely go there again.

Nice hotel in the midst of Canteras beach. Rooms modern and nicely furnished. Big bathroom; however, you cannot close the door to the bathroom entirely, might be a problem if you share your room. Also, there is window glass between bathroom and room, no privacy at all in the bathroom. Be aware that as you are in the midst of Canteras beach, there is noice from the streets. Did not at all bother us, however. The bar on the 8th floor was highly appreciated. Nice views and nice personnel! We would stay there again!

We had an amazing stay, perfect rooms, the staff are so helpfull. Great air-conditioning perfect views. The views frim the room amd the roof top bar are out of this world. Can't wait for the next visit

It’s 3 star! Reading some of the reviews you’d think people mistakenly thought they’d booked 6 star. It is a a lovely clean, friendly place to stay in a good location. Bed was huge, shower was very good. The only fault I could find was no kettle in the room. Highly recommend this hotel.
