Rooms warm and good bar

I have stayed here a good few times. The rooms are always lovely with amazing views of the river. I was lucky enough to be at the recent decant and dine night at the 1756 Streak House a really great event. The Sunday carvary is a must with lots of selection and very freindly staff.

Rooms are basic but nice and clean. Shower is good. Toiletries are basic, look nice but the product is awful. Towels feel like they've just cleaned down your countertop and have been left to dry - not nice at all! My room was very loud. I was in 202, every time someone walked up the corridor the door outside my room banged and there was a machine making noise outside my window - sounds like a kitchen fan, kept going on and off, it was torture. I had to keep my window open because the room is roasting and there's no air con in the room. I would prefer to listen to the noise and get used to it than try and sleep but that's just me. However,, because there was no air con I didn't have that option. I had a business meeting the morning after my stay and I was not up for it as I did not sleep well. 1 thing I will say is, the pillows on the bed were quiet nice, I don't like ridiculously soft pillows. These were nice and firm.

Had a fabulous time yesterday in The Courtyard Hotel. Second time staying there and will hopefully return again soon. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and staff very friendly and welcoming. Room clean and comfortable and bar/lounge area very nice.

Court Yard Carvery is back! Just want to give praise to the lovely staff for the service and experience yesterday at Sunday Carvery. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and above all the food was super. See you again very soon. Great Family day out.

I decided to give this place another chance after a year but really should have stayed away. Nothing has improved. Went in with my family for the carvery lunch. Place was not busy. No cutlery or trays available on entry to the carvery. Food was good but only lukewarm at best. Ordered a round of drinks at the start of our meal but did not receive until near the end. ( I went to the bar 3 times to enquire where our drinks were during our meal) Poorly trained staff and a bar manager who seemed to try and look busy but was failing miserably. For the prices charged for carvery dinners, they really need to up their game. Shocking service. This was last chance saloon and definitely won't ever be back!!

I stayed here for business. One night in December 2023 and again in February 2024. I stayed here alone because... business. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good. Reception have been kind enough to check me in early on both occasions. Food in the bar is decent. Not gourmet but more than good enough for a solo traveller (and I'm a bit of a foodie). Staff are friendly and helpful. Their biggest asset is the barman. I don't know his name but he has a wonderful mustash. He is attentive and friendly which is very much appreciated when you're having dinner alone. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Leixslip.

My self and friend went to the bar for a drink afew months ago .she ordered a beer and a jameson crested whisky for myself. Checked the price and the crested cost 12 euros. Complained and eventually got refund, which left the price at 6.50 euros. No apology and female staff said " no big deal ". Was back there last week and again got my crested whisky and glass of white wine. Crested cost 6.50eur and wine cost 9 euros. Female staff member left and male bartender now on duty. Went for just a crested whisky as she refused to pay another 9 euros for a glass of wine. Got the crested whisky and handed in 10 euro note. Now crested whisky cost 7 50 euros. Compared both receipts with bartender but no joy. Returned whisky and got 7 50back and promptly left. Bartender is the actual owner of the premises!!!! So won't be in any hurry to go back there. Its no wonder some of the staff lack basic people skills . Advice to all who frequent this establishment. (1) ask for and check receipts. (2) Don't ask for the owner if you're trying to have an issue resolved.

Great 3 nights stay at The Court Yard Hotel. Brilliant staff (reception, f&b, housekeeping, kitchen etc), serving delicious food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), good service, clean. Plenty of things to do as the location is superb. An outdoor hot tub located on the balcony was a jackpot! We will be back!
