Lovely 2 night stay to begin our Costa Rica trip. Clean, quiet, spacious and very comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff who arranged our taxi pickup from airport and La Leona waterfall tour. 20 minutes walk to downtown. Amazing breakfast.

I'm not sure how this hotel has the reviews it does. While the rooms were clean, the ceiling tiles were pulling away from the ceiling, there was a giant hole with a grate partially covering it above our bed that seemed to go to nowhere, there were not blankets (only sheets), and the furniture was from the 1970's at best. It is affordable and has secure parking, but that is about it.

Such a homey feeling and very welcoming. All of the staff are so sweet. The room was very clean and the Air conditioning worked so well. I ended up forgetting my laptop and within 15 min of leaving the hotel they told me and kept it safe until I returned. Overall a very nice experience.

Nice place for an overnight stay upon arriving. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was welcoming. There were a few restaurants within walking distance. On the night we stayed, there was very little hot water, which was unfortunate on an otherwise nice stay.

Great value. Air conditioning works. Kind staff, and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed here right after landing in Liberia for one night which made it much easier than driving that night to our first destination. Parking was on site and secured.

Such a friendly and welcoming hotel. It was our first and last accomodation in Costa Rica and the organised, helpful and lovely staff made such a difference. Big comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast. The staff are really great, first class.

Hotel Javy is a basic, family run hotel. It’s not fancy, but the beds and bathrooms were clean. There’s parking available with a security person available to open and close the gate (and also checked us in since we arrived around 10:00 pm). We enjoyed the home cooked breakfast that was served to us the following morning. The staff were all kind and helpful and the security person gave us some good suggestions for where to go to eat when we arrived. Good location for our first night in Liberia!

I stated a night at this hotel and the service was awesome. It’s a quaint place with no frills, and it’s worth the price. The breakfast in the morning was beautiful, it was made fresh and it was accompanied with incredible coffee. I highly recommend.

First off the good part- a nice breakfast. The bad part: The bedroom was about the worst we have ever stayed in tiny, dank, handles coming off dressers. Double bed was against the wall, so could only use one side of bed. Room did not seem clean. No elevator for getting to second floor with suitcases. Bathroom very small. Asked for them to secure a ride from airport to hotel and this cost about twice as much as getting an uber. The area the hotel is in is poorly lit, so no walking around after dark . Really, do not consider
