Mercure Liege City Centre

I checked in on Sunday 9th June 2024. There was no power from the wall sockets and switches. The receptionist promised to send technician on Monday. As there was no power from the sockets and switches, my room will turn dark without any lighting. I can’t even use my computer. This continues until I checked out on Wednesday. Promised will never come back again.

Nice building, modern lobby, rooms are a disaster: extremely poor lighting, very old bathroom, old furniture, no sockets close to bed. Far away from a 4 star standard.

This hotel is in an old building and they are doing a fabulous job resurrecting a has been in an area where there are few hotels. We had a beautiful room overlooking the river. I am not sure how much noisier it will be once the trams start running on the new tracks. The breakfast was amazing!

The room was really comfortably furnished and the room was very clean. The breakfast was ok. The sausages were a bit too dry anything else was very tasty though. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However the maintain in front of the hotel is currently under construction, which was a bit disappointing.

Great hotel! The lobby is clean and has a great area to relax and talk. The rooms and hallways could use upgrades due to being a little worn but the room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great and all the staff we encountered were friendly. We had dinner at hotel one night and it was excellent ! Parking has a good space for any size vehicle. About 15-20 minute walk to main city center but you see some tourist sites on way. Overall a great stay !
