We booked Stasjonen mainly because of its location to the train as we were travelling to and from Lillehammer by train. The rooms were small but very modern, clean and comfortable. Beds were long and very comfortable. Bathroom and shower excellent! Breakfast and dinner were both very good. Service from the staff on reception and restaurant was very friendly and helpful.

Very basic room. Dark and broken furniture. The beds in a twin room are so narrow, it’s barely a size of a standard single if you put the beds together.

Literally on the central station, so you'll have quick access to transport, but other than that it's just a place to sleep.

The staff was very friendly and the food very good! At first, I was surprised they also offered Hostel rooms, and then I couldn't have been more impressed. The owner of the hotel was so devoted to his business and guests. You won't find this hospitality anywhere else. And talk about convenient. Trains and buses right out the front door. WE LOVED THIS HOTEL!!!!!

It was certainly a unique experience staying within a train station. The hostel itself was nice and had a place to dine in. The breakfast buffet that we had was sufficient and delicious. Some friendly staff behind the counter was a bonus. The rooms that we stayed was decent too. Walkable distance to shops and touristic places.

nice hotel with nice breakfast, clean rooms and perfect place directly in the station ; tea and coffee available at the bar for guest is a plus ; possibile also to eat at the restaurant with honest price and good quality

I have stayed at Stasjonen several times during the last two years. The staff is really kind and helpful. Rooms are (so so) clean. Location is great. The rooms facing train station are a bit loud if you are sensitive. Rooms facing bus station are much better. Rooms do not have hair dryer but you can borrow one from reception when you are checking in. Good value for the price.

At the train station- so convenient and also quiet in rooms despite passing trains. Good hearty breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
