This hotel is situated in the financial district in an affluent neighborhood. It is a taxi ride or in our case, a long walk to the touristy area of Miraflores. It was very nice coming back to this quiet hotel after a long day. There are shops and restaurants within easy access.

I really like this hotel. I had a room with two queens and the room was huge! This hotel is in the financial district. The tourist area is called Miraflores. This hotel is in San Isidro, a quiet affluent neighborhood. We walked to Miraflores (to and from the hotel is a long walk but we like that). Taxis are economical if you’d rather do that. The service is awesome and I especially want to call out Cesar who was extremely helpful, patiently explaining things to us and gave excellent directions in English!! The hotel has a breakfast buffet and it was a good spread. I recommend this hotel.

If you want to experience a classic real 5 star hotel this is the one. Big rooms, great location at one of the best places in Lima. Clean, safe, quiet, walking distance to restaurant/shops and top customer service by Belén at the front desk. Even forgot a shirt and Belén with Álvaro provide a great assistance to have it back. Will go back for sure.

My experience with Sonesta Hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet place in San Isidro. Every morning I went for a walk at el El Olivar Park at enjoy the nature and peaceful and very safe atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had my favorite dishes from the Peruvian cuisine. My room was always kept clean and comfy. They have a cozy bar and restaurant and the personal was always helpful and kind. I am planing to go back to this hotel in November. I completely recommend this place for tourists, families and business trips.

I had forgotten how good this place is. There’s always some water, tea and biscuits near the front desk in the afternoon. They even bring around little biscuits to your room at night. Nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast has a very substantial choice, considering most hotels now are serving fruit loops and not much else. I’m a very happy customer…again.

This hotel is just great. Let me start with the staff, they are amazing. Special thanks to Cesar who helped me with my luggage and to extend my stay one more night. ( i stayed an extra night because it was great) . Grecia at the reception was very helpful and check in an out was a breeze. Jorge in the restaurant was very amicable and suggested some of the dishes at the buffet. He also explained me the source of the coffee they served. Location, the hotel is on quiet spot next to the olivar park, this is in the San Isidro district (business area of Lima) everything is close to this place, cafe’s , ice cream parlors, sea food restaurants, you name it. Very little traffic which in Lima is a bless. The hotel itself is well keep and rooms are very very very quiet, i can stress this enough, the place is quiet. It has the early 2000’s theme but i found it very charming. Overall an excellent experience and I can’t wait to be back there. Make sure you try the coffee in the room, its really good.
