Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel

Really nice hotel ! Our room was very clean and the beds very comfortable and had a lovely view. Food was good , something for everyone. Bit disappointed with the drinks , not a wine or beer drinker and couldn’t have the cocktails as am allergic to citrus . Difficult to get a sun bed next to the pools . But was on the sea front so not much of an issue . Great location , sea ,shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed sitting in the Scorpio Bar which was on the beach front . Overall a great hotel

The hotel and all staff were fantastic. They couldn't do enough to ensure our honeymoon was one to remember. From Swan towels with rose petals on our bed to the amazing food that they serve in the dining area. Beautiful clean rooms and pools with lovely music playing and terrace areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Pool bars are superb and the staff that worked their made each day extra special. Sun loungers big and well maintained and the decor was beautiful. Thanks to all at Porto Greco Mr and Mrs Nevard xx

We changed to Porto Greco last minute for a treat … But I just can’t understand how such a big resort has very little sunbeds? We got up at 5am one day to reserve the beds ( as everyone else was doing this )and they was already all reserved Some people Were leaving their towels on the bed for most of day without anyone returning Leaving people to sit on the floor. If you go across to another Hotel close by you can get a bed there but the pool doesn’t get cleaned there and the beds are mostly damaged. Scorpio is what makes this resort And the beautiful beaches But be careful when climbing down to the beach the steps are all broken and rottered

The room we had was nice and spacious. We had enough closet space and desk space where we could put our stuff. The bathroom was clean and everything looked good. The bed was a bit hard but it was okay for a week. The location is perfect because its close to the beach and the shops and the pools look great. We had a nice stay! Would recommend!

I spend a holiday at Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel in september 2024. It was a beautiful hotel complex, spotless clean everywhere and with the most friendly staff offering good service. One night we wanted to watch Netflix in the room and couldn't make the TV work. 10 minutes later a technician came and fixed it. Our room was spacious and modern with a nice little terrace. The room was cleaned and towels changed every time we put the cleaning sign out. The concept with small pools scattered around the complex was perfect for guests who does not find the concept of large groups of noisy playing kids appealing. There was also small beaches opposite the hotel where you could rent sunbeds for a reasonable price (-or arrive after noon when the money collector left). As some reviews point out the restaurant did not serve 5 star Michelin food, but considering the amount of people dining almost around the clock it was good plain fresh food and the buffet offered a large selection of different dishes. Along the beachside of Hersonissos only a short walk away from Porto Greco there is a lot of restaurants, partying and noisy nightlife . But if you prefer a more quiet holiday away from all this just stay at the resorts bars and restaurants.

What a nice place! We had a family room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It looked different to the pictures but since the Hotel has many different buildings it's just logical the Pictures in the ad don't show any possible room. Our room was really nice and quite big. As common in hot contries, it had a stone floor and thin linnen sheets. A warmer blanket was found in the wardrobe. 2 problems we had, it was the moskito season and the children got stung a lot. The Hotel staff was very helpful, giving us a moskito repellant lamp for the room and some soothing gel for the stings. The shower in the smaller bathroom had no wall or curtain, so the floor would get wet. But the floor towel was changed every day so it wasn't a big problem and we could still use the bigger bathroom to shower. The rooms were always clean and nice. No Idea what those complaints of others could be about. The hotel has 5 different pools, as usual in hot countiess, they are not heated. Great way to cool down when the sun is hot. We came in Oktober, the sea was quite warm, but the waves were so big that most of the beaches were wet. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the water wich is not too deep and despite the waves has no strong curtents. There are a few bays protected by stone barriers nearby, so bathing with no waves was possible as well. The hotel staff are just the best! They made wonderful Greek Mokka for us in the morning and always greeted the Kids in a special way. We arrived late in the evening so the first thing for them was to make sure we still got dinner, even after dinner time. We could ask for any help, they would do their best. The food was good, there was always a gigantic choice of salads, fruit, veggies and Greek specialties like Joghurt, olives, spices, cheese, sweets and cake. Breakfast was a huge variety of international tastes. Britisch, German, French and all in between. Lunch and Dinner always had different soups, fish, meats and veggies nothern and mediterranen style. There was always pasta and fries for the kids. Drinks were OK. There was a huge variety of non alcoholic drinks. Beer and wine were average but as expected for an "all inklusive" place, the coctails are not that good. No problem there, we don't go on vacation to get drunk. We would be happy to come back one day!
