Vasia Boulevard Hotel (Adults Only)

Attention to anyone considering booking at Vasia Boulevard Boutique in Hersonissos, Crete. Here are some details that I hope will help you. I will also be posting pictures of the hotel that convey more than words can. We spent seven wonderful days at Vazia Boulevard and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the fantastic service and stylish design. Although we didn't initially have a sea view room, the hotel arranged for us to have a room with a sea view, which was a lovely gesture. The breakfast buffet was a dream, offering a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, delicious pastries, and fresh honey. The professional staff serving breakfast made a real impression – they took orders, served Greek coffee, orange juice, and many other delightful beverages in a very professional manner. The room was extremely fresh and well-maintained every day, with very high-quality bedding. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job keeping it clean and replenishing water and toiletries. The only thing we would have liked was additional storage, as there was only one wardrobe. A small table or similar for placing luggage would have been practical, instead of having to put it on the floor. The staff, from the reception (Maria a Vola and a gentelman whose name i unfortunately don’t recall and to the kitchen and café staff, truly went above and beyond. Especially the hotel manager, Nikos, who was one of the most helpful and professional people we have ever met. He and the entire staff made us feel like part of the family. The hotel's location was also perfect, close to the beach and offering a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We genuinely felt like we wanted to return, and we definitely will. A huge thank you to all of you for the outstanding hospitality you guys have shown us. A 5 star boutique hotel situated in the lively town of Hersinossos.The private beachfront just a few steps away .The rooms are clean and beds very comfy . I would recommend a sea view room if you are in luck . Breakfast is good and lunch and dinner is served at the restaurant outside the Hotel with beautiful sea views, especially at night when the town is all lit up. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Such a wonderful stay my mum and I had enjoyed here at the Vasia Boulevard. Of course you have the understated, clean luxury which makes the hotel so beautiful, the amenities are carefully thought through and the courtyard is such a tranquil oasis in the middle of Hersonissos. But what really makes the place so special are the staff. The staff go above and beyond for us and all the guests who stay here to make our stay comfortable, like home from home and take the time to chat to you and get to know you. They show an interest in you and your day. It’s like family and the staff embody the true meaning of hospitality. A real credit to the hotel and show everyone how φιλοξενία is done. British hospitality could learn so much from this philosophy. The staff are all very accommodating and Nikos takes the time to chat to all his guests and asks how we all are doing every day and this really is special. He looks after his staff and encourages the best out of them in a gentle way. Voula on reception is wonderful and also can recommend and book a range of amazing trips - something I recommend strongly if coming to Crete because there is so much to discover from history to culture and Cretan nights (this one I need to still go but definitely on my list for next time.) I really can’t thank every single member of staff enough for their wonderful hospitality and their beautiful smiles when they look after you. Nothing is ever too big or small. And if you need more reason to stay here, the half board à la carte menu at the beachside restaurant is out of this world! Generously portioned plates, a balanced menu and not forgetting the Greek classics on there of course, you have plenty to choose from without being overwhelmed. The balanced menu allows for superbly high quality and delicious cooking - the chefs do such a remarkable job and are incredibly talented. Ingredients are all fresh and local. Another winner. Fabulous hotel ! Staff are all friendly and very helpful .The hotel is perfectly clean ,the rooms are a decent size with a small balcony and have everything you need ! The food in the restaurant is amazing and very large portions! I stayed with my sister for a week and we will definitely return !

Perfect location with a beautiful view. Near everything but still a quiet place. Really nice breakfast buffé with a lot to choose from! Good service, staff was great. The rooms were fresh! Small pool with not so many sunbeds but that didn’t bother us since the hotel was located near the different beaches.

Lovely comfortable room I slept like a log and felt I really got the relaxing vibe I was looking for. Considering the hotel is in the middle of the main strip you can't hear a thing. We went half board and I only really had one problem with the food which was our last morning when the whole of the cooked breakfast was stone cold. This was in the hotel managers absence as he seems pretty hands on and normally checks the food himself in the mornings. The manager and reception staff are very friendly and helpful and can't seem to do enough for you. The food in the main restaurant is amazing although the menu is quiet limited so you could pretty much do the whole thing in a week. I feel the restaurant waiting staff could be a little bit more attentive and welcoming as we only seemed to get offered one drink per meal and we ate there 3 times so it wasn't staff dependent they could make alot more on drinks. The area is very busy which we enjoyed and found quiet funny especially at night. The local beach wasn't great as its shingle and gets everywhere but thats easily remedied by a short bus ride to Stalis. Obviously this is nothing to do with the hotel. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here.
