Aglaia Apartments & Studios

Can't recommend this hotel. Rooms and bathroom were untidy, bedsheets were not changed in whole week. Room was chilly by night. Towels had to be asked to get clean ones. No custom service at all. Never know when person in charge works there, he comes and goes however he wants, and he is the only one who works there. Reception is open only few hours per week, you never know when it's open. Not a good experience. Bus stop nearby is only positive thing.

Simple accommodation without services. If you arrive at this accommodation in the evening, you will have to search for your room yourself in the dark, poorly lit hotel area. Otherwise, the reception is only open occasionally, so the guests are not told the times. There is no service and if you reach the only staff member, the service is unfriendly. None of the general hotel schedules are correct, instead you may be informed that the room must be empty at 10 o'clock in the morning and if it is not, the police will be called. This hotel also does not provide any place to store luggage for those leaving in the evening, when no one bothers to come and open the locked reception room door at, for example, 5 p.m. The person in charge behaves aggressively if he tells about general hotel formalities. The mattresses on the beds are dirty and sagging, causing back pain. This accommodation option cannot be recommended. Time has passed the object.

I will absolutely recomend Aglaia Hotel. We had one week there this summer, and we will for sure go back next year. Kostas and his family was very helpful and nice to us, we have only good things to say about our time at Aglaia. Gro

Basic. It's cheap so don't expect anything special. Cleaning only few times during the week and they didn't change the bed sheets, room was very dated and didn't have a tv, there was no view or direct sunshine on the balcony etc so if these are a deal breaker then look for something else. I didn't mind, I only slept and used the pool in the hotel. So this is a good "base" to explore the island and surroundings, but not a place for a plain hotel holiday. Location ok, its about 10 minutes walk to Stalis and restaurants etc. About 15 minutes walk to Malia old town, and there are bus stops just outside the hotel. You can buy snacks from kitchen by the pool, although It was open limited times.

The hotel did not match the description. Really run down 1 bedroom apartment. You should not stay at this apartment hotel. Pharaoh ants had taken over the upper kitchen cabinets. As a customer, I had to poison them myself. The electricity went out for several hours, even though the ventilation machines of the neighboring houses were running. I had to take the food to the trash can on the side of the street, because the apartment lacked a kitchen trash can. The sheets were not changed once and the towels only once a week. Cleaning only twice and even then I had to take out the trash myself.

11-18 July have a trip with a family(4 persons). Choose Aglaia , because saw and heard a lot of perfect reviews. And i want to say that it is not a rumor! That’s a whole TRUE! That was the best trip in Greece!! Everything because we have really exellent apartments/Aglaia. Separately want to thanks Kostas! He provide us one of the best room with view on the sea!Very kind and fair men! He will help you in any situations! Rooms were clean and shiny! Also we had clean pool! Everything were PERFECT! Wait for us!

Arrivé plus que chaotique, de premier abord le patron était sympathique le temps de nous faire payer la taxe(seulement payé en espèce) de séjour ainsi que de nous remettre les clés du logement. Aussitôt le logement ouvert et le frigo branché il est parti et nous avons pu constater un logement miteux. La propreté est inexistante, la clim ne fonctionné pas ainsi que le réfrigérateur.. Je suis donc descendu lui dire gentiment que notre climatisation ne fonctionné pas, il m'a répondu qu'il viendrais d'ici 10 minutes. 30 minutes plus tard toujours personne, nous repassons à l'accueil le prévenir que nous sortons ainsi que l'avertir du non fonctionnement du réfrigérateur. À notre retour nous le retrouvons dans le logement avec "son grand-père", fixer la prise murale qui pendait puis essayant de mettre un autre réfrigérateur celui-ci ne fonctionnant toujours pas. Je l'informe de l'état du toilette ainsi que de la salle de bain, il me suis pour regarder, me dit qu'il ne voit pas où est le problème. Je ressort de la pièce et aussitôt monsieur tire la chasse d'eau... Nous commençons à perdre patience, il nous regarde donc et nous dit "si vous n'êtes pas contente vous prenez vos affaires et vous partez ! ". Son grand-père lui dis de nous loger ailleurs, il ne veut pas mais fini par nous montrer un autre logement. Celui-ci n'est toujours pas très propre mais il dispose d'une climatisation ainsi que d'un réfrigérateur. N'ayant pas d'autres choix que de rester puisque tout les logement des environ était complet nous acceptons. Les joints du réfrigérateur était moisi, la bouilloire fuyez, la vaisselle sale, matelas moisi... Nous sommes resté une semaine durant laquelle le ménage a été fait 1 fois, un rouleau de papier toilette tout les 3 jours pour 3 personnes. Nous avons dû acheter de quoi nettoyer le logement. Sur la terrasse nous disposions d'une table nous en avons profité pour mangé dehors, directement il est venu nous voir pour nous dire de surtout bien nettoyer (chose que nous avions déjà fait en arrivant au vu de son état). La piscine n'est jamais nettoyer, l'eau est trouble et leurs chien se balade en urinant un peu partout. À notre départ en lui apportant la clé il nous a dit: "suivez moi je vais inspecter le logement" (nous sommes les seules à avoir eu "ce privilège" ). Nous avions démonté les draps de nos lit et nettoyer pour facilité le travail des femmes de ménage. Il a commencé à regarder chaque serviettes et draps en nous demandant pourquoi nous avions défait les lits (je pense que les personnes avec un minimum d'éducation le font aussi) , les placards, la salle de bain.. Une fois sortie du logement, il me dit de mettre 10 étoiles sur booking. Je lui dit okay et il a ensuite le culot de me dire il faut pas dire oui et faire le contraire c'est important que j'ai 10 étoiles. Je ne comprends pas comment cette personne peut être à ce point je m'en foutiste, aussi peu courtois et surtout avec un tel culot. Nous pensions que les comm

Здравствуйте, читаю отзывы и удивляюсь. Господа ! Аглая это апартаменты, а не отель. Вы снимаете жилье на определенный срок. А, раз это жилье, то вы сами, как дома, убираете, выносите мусор, готовите еду. Понятно? На территории есть частная собственность хозяина.это садовая печь. Это собственность хозяина и не надо ее трогать. Сняли жилье, вот и живите и никого не трогайте. Лично нам понравилось: никто не заходил в наш дом. Никто не трогал наши вещи, не тырил мелочь и не таскал сигареты. Наши трусы и носки и чемоданы валялись там, где мы хотели. Это классно! Двор гостиницы уютный, с прикольным артдизайном. Дорога к пляжу удобная, но ее надо найти. Если выйти , то повернуть налево и через метров триста под дорогой маленький подземный переход. После перехода почти прямая дорога к пляжу. Кстати пляж очень хороший. Правее и левее по берегу пляжи хуже. Короче, сопли вам вытирать не будет. Место хорошее. Возьмите машину напрокат. Автопутешествия там обалденные. Водители спокойные. Возле пляжа в сувенирной лавке я купил карту Крита на русском языке. Мы были в Египте, Турции, Индии и можем сравнивать. Цены на продукты как в Украине(приблизительно). Если пойти направо , через три километра начинается городок с старыми улочками и современными супермаркетами. Короче, нам понравилось, хотим ещё.
