Booked a room at Comfort inn in Lincoln east on the 2nd thru the sixth of April , had an emergency trip back home sisters on life support in the hospital, my flight got canceled due to weather so i cancelled the room a couple hours later the same day . So i understand keeping my funds for the one night But keeping my funds for the next 3 days is called Double dipping. keeping my $462.85 is absurd when you had every opportunity to rent the room for the entire three days that I never stayed .Never gain .

Staff was great. The building needs maintenance. The manager is awful. First time I get denied for late checkout on an slow season.

Bed comfortable and excellent location. Outside facilities poorly maintained. Cigarette butts all over the "smoking area", entrance planters had cut of birch tree branches, arrow buttons in elevator damaged, room itself had drill holes in the wall in several places (including shower), bathroom tile grout broken or missing, damaged drywall next to the tub, water stains behind the toilet, bathroom facet sprayed water all over.
Although staff was friendly at check in we couldn't be told if we had a handicap room without a wheelchair accessible shower (room not handicap), no explanation as to breakfast hours or wifi.

Room had small holes in the ceiling, looked like spots of mold on ceiling and paint chipping off

This was a wonderful break from a long drive, and I was impressed by the building and its amenities.

We've stayed at this hotel several times over the years for visits to the Lincoln area because of the comfort and value. Unfortunately our visit this time was disappointing. There was not enough help at the front desk for check in and the building was starting to show signs of wear and tear. We were missing a drape in our room and the air conditioner didn't seem to keep the room a consistent temperature. We have enjoyed this hotel for a very long time, so we're hoping a renovation is in the plans!
