The place is located in a really central area of Lisbon, near Bairro Alto, really close to Praça do Carmo. Check-in was at 3 pm but we didn’t receive any information via the booking application even though we also tried to contact the place by message. There is no elevator and the steep stairs at the entrance make difficult to bring heavy luggage. The room was really small and without any windows, the roof light was really cold and bright and the lamp was not working which made the experience a bit claustrophobic. The bed blanket had some dirty spots. The shared bathroom had lots of mold in the ceiling. The city tax is 4 EUR not payable with credit card. Reception is only open during daytime. The average price of 40/50€ per night is definitely not worthy this experience.

We didn’t get the same room as we booked. The second room we was given was not prepared. We was not aloud to drink inside the hostel. The “host” occiuped our room for a powernap so we could not get inside the room to get ready for dinner. Very tiny rooms

Dortoir exigu ( 6 m2 pour 4 lits )sans fenêtre, literie affreuse , draps jetables. Un sanitaire vieillot pour 12. Même si l emplacement est central et l accueil courtois, c est l’escroquerie pour le prix ( 50€ la nuit sans aucun confort ni service). Pas de petit dej et wifi nul. Très bruyant ( rue et hostel ). Douche froide et odeur de cuisine en prime. Pour la chambre deluxe vous dormirez à la cave. C est pire encore. Le seul endroit sympa reste le petit salon.
