Such a unique stay, close to everything, and the staff were incredible. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing hotel breakfast/feast delivered to your door every morning. The rooms are huge and beautiful. Great customer service with polite and attentive staff. Location is in the center of everything.

Staff AMAZING! Hotel located in Central Chiado neighborhood. Close to everything! Breakfast in room above and beyond!!! Air Con Great! Large beautiful rooms! There are stairs, no elevator… staff helps with luggage up and down. If you have mobility issues or knee issues this is not for you. We loved it, early 50’s in good shape. Would highly recommend!

Lovely, exceptionally roomy accomodations with a fabulous view of the ocean and city. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast served on a cart to the room was delicious, plentiful and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend this historical property in a very convenient location in Chiado!

Superb location and fantastic rooms. We were spoiled and felt special during our 5 nights stay. Everybody there was so genuine and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed and that everything met our expectations. I would stay here again without any hesitation!

The most wonderful hotel stay we ever had so far!
The hotel is located in the downtown area Chiado in walking distance to many shops, bars and restaurants.
The room we had was very spaciuos and the breakfast served to the room was enourmous and left nothing to be desired.
The icing on the cake is the empathic staff: Maria took care of us from the very first day since our reservation, organized the airport transfer and made good and helpful recommendations. Miguel acted in place of her in the evening hours worthy.
Iolanda and her team took extraordinarily good care of the room (and anything else).
All of the staff are extremly friendly and made our stay unforgettable.
It‘s great to see and feel that all of them practise their job with a lot of enthusiasm and passion!
We would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Lisbon and would surely stay here again!

I stayed here just for a night when returning from Porto and before leaving Portugal. It's near the top of the hill for Chiado and only a few blocks from the shopping area and very convenient for restaurants in the area. I had room #9 and it was enormous with two windows overlooking much of the city including views of the waterfront and the Castelo Sao Jorge. I mentioned to them one small maintenance issue when I departed but otherwise everything was flawless.
For those with mobility issues, be aware that because this is a former Palace, it does NOT have an elevator and there are 33 steps to access the level with the rooms.
