The Late Birds Lisbon - Gay Urban Resort

Everything from finding the hotel web page, to booking, storing luggage due to early arrival, good accommodation, courteous and helpful staff, very nice room, and arranging transport to airport was five star. Would return for sure.

This hotel stands out for its personalized attention to guests. It is in a wonderful location, right in the middle of a wonderful neighbourhood with the best of nightlife and restaurants but in a very quiet setting.

Thank you for making my stay at The Late Birds a pleasant one. Their great service starts even before I arrived with the welcoming message via email and chat message. Everyone at The Late Birds are friendly, helpful, always with a smile their faces and makes you feel welcome, at least with those whom I had the pleasure of interacting with. The room is clean, cozy and comfortable bed to rest and snooze. Being a first timer in Lisbon, location wise I find it is accessible to walk or take a tram ride to explore Bairro Alto area. All in all had a fabulous stay at The Late Birds. Will definitely come back to stay here when I visit Lisbon again. Fingers crossed they have vacancy. Keep working your magic guys. Cheers!

The main issue I had with them was: While sitting on their chair, the chair broke, exposing dangerous and sharp wood pieces (a big hazard!), which could have hurt me. Instead of caring for my well being and replacing the chair (like any reasonable hotel would do), they charged me € 100, which is by any means much more than you would pay for such a bad chair like that. Regardless, as I said, no other hotel would have charged anything. Would have firstly be worried about my well being and whether I got injured or not, and replaced the chair immediately. I was left with no chair for the rest of my stay! Other issues: * Old style wood only chair, instead of more comfortable office chairs (that will not break on you). * Badly designed bathroom will leak water outside of the shower and make the whole bathroom wet. * Small working desk, that already has a previous era Mac computer with no extra room to work or use your own laptop (and everyone has a laptop nowadays, so I don't see the point of having an old computer taking space there instead). The location is good and the front desk staff was nice. Although I see how they are limited in what they can do and are not responsible for working in a small hotel with bad administration. I suggest staying in a larger hotel instead.

Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Very kind stuff. Great facilities. Breakfast and food excellent . Location is very good, near the center and metro line. Took the boat ride and it was fun. Peaceful oasis in the middle of the city.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Excellent and friendly staff and owners. The breakfast each morning was a real plus. The room was huge - super quiet and comfortable. It was nice to have drinks in the evening and getting to know the other guests. Highly recommend!

We stayed over New Year’s Eve 2024. The hotel is beautiful, elegant and located right in the middle of the city close to everything you want to go to. The rooms are spacious and comfortable although you can hear people in the mornings if you’re a light sleeper. The hotel had a very fun New Years agenda with catered dinner, drinks, gift exchange and private DJ to ring in the New Year. Would highly recommend.

Better than expected! We booked this stay a few months before the holidays and had only been to Portugal once before abs had only stayed in Nazaré. So my expectations of The Latev Bird Lisbon became very important. I can honestly say the staff, owner, Management & location, all made for mind blowing holiday vacation that I wish I could live every day

Great, relaxing, comfortable place with terrific breakfasts, friendly, simpatico and helpful staff; could not imagine not staying anywhere r else on any future Lisbon trip. Recommended !!!!! Greetings to all.
