We called in on the off chance on the Friday and enjoy it so much went back on the Sunday. The staff were very professional, extremely helpful and great at their job. The service was slick and the food very tasty both times. My husband worked there 40 years ago and was delighted to see it still thriving. Many thanks all

Popped in after a walk over British camp, found a table and ordered at the bar. The food came out really quick and was great, lasagne was spot on. The beer is also very good. There was a busy restaurant attached, perhaps I will book in for it next time.

61st wedding anniversary treat for my parents. The ambience was warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. We could not have had a better experience. Wonderful location too. Friendly clientele with lots of very well behaved dogs (probably hoping for food - the smells must have been so tempting!). Choice of restaurant, bar and outside seating was good too.

Stopped here for some lunch whilst out in the Malverns. The menu is wide and they do all sorts from sandwiches and jacket potato's to the usual pub classics. They have a bar and a restaurant area. The bar is order at the bar and table service in the restaurant. They also have a kids menu. I had fishcakes which were homemade and delicious and couldn't touch the chips they come with because they were so big. Everyone enjoyed their lunch, the staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good atmosphere. I'd definitely be back again when we are in the area.

The hotel bar and restaurant were all exceptional. Our room was spacious well appointed and very clean. The biggest asset to our stay were the staff. They were all very polite friendly and super helpful. They all seemed to thoroughly enjoy their jobs and that came across to us. They are what hospitality is made of. 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back. Thanks to you all.

This lovely hotel was a very pleasant surprise and beyond expectations. Great location for the hills and the walking routes. Quite amazing staff who are so polite, courteous and charming which in the U.K. is very unusual and rare. Rooms were clean, bright and the beds were very comfortable (we as a family had two rooms, one twin and one junior suite which was an upgrade). Bathrooms were spacious and clean. We’ve left off one star for the food. It was average and there’s room for a better menu for the evening diners.

We have stayed here previously, but not for a few years. We were not disappointed and enjoyed a three night stay at the hotel. The reception was welcoming, the room immaculate, spacious and well-appointed. The bar and resturant areas are relaxing. The food is of a very high standard, and it was served promptly. The prawn and crab cocktail was superb. Well done the chefs! All the staff were friendly and professional throughout. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we will return.

We spent 4 nights at the Hotel in a Junior Suite. Beautiful room, great food, amazing location. What sets this hotel apart though is the staff. Top class service with a smile. They have obviously been well recruited and trained. The hotel is privately owned and it shows. Highly recommend

Hard to find fault with this hotel. The location in the heart of the Malvern Hills is unbeatable, the room was spacious and extremely comfortable and the bathroom was modern, spacious and very clean. The breakfasts were superb with wide ranging cold buffet and hot food cooked to order. Dinners were likewise excellent, chosen from a menu upon which I would have struggled to find anything I wouldn't have eaten, and the portions were generous too. There is an excellent wine list and the hotel also offers a good range of real ales, other beers and cider. The members of the staff we encountered were exceptional for their friendliness, engagement and service - nothing was too much trouble. And just over the road is an old wood shop which sells a huge range of ice cream in amazing flavours from various local sources, my personal favourite being Berry's Gooseberry and Elderflower!
