Worst hostel I've ever stayed in - avoid at all costs!!! I rarely leave bad reviews, but this hostel is so poorly managed it's shocking. My fellow travellers in my dorm room were also fooled by the fake positive reviews on *********** and google maps and regretted the decision. EXTRA Charges: First of all, there is a £3 charge for a bath towel which is totally unheard of, as well as a £2 or £3 charge PER ITEM to store your luggage - see attached photos for their price list. ROOM: I was in a four-person dorm with a private bathroom, but the room was much tinier than it seemed on the photos on their website; there was barely any room to unpack my suitcase in front of my bed. One of the lockers has a broken door. The room also has no windows and just a tiny (and very dirty) sealed skylight, and it was very hot and stuffy at night. There was a very dirty electric fan which was broken and it took a lot of convincing to get it replaced after the first night. The enclosed bathroom had a tiny shower with no room to put any toiletries down, and you can see from the tile there might have been shampoos offered in the past but it was removed. Negligence: It's fair to say it doesn't even offer the bare minimum one expects from a hostel. And I was in town for the weekend for a big game, otherwise I would've left after the first night. What's worse is the negligent management. I was having a medical issue and was told there would be someone at the front desk 24 hours before I went to bed. But when I woke up early (around 6) the next morning, hoping to go for a walk at the docks for some fresh air, I found the main entrance was locked and there was no one at reception at all! If I needed emergency medical attention they would have to break down the door. What if there's an emergency such as a fire? The only slight redeeming factor was the location is convenient. But Liverpool City Centre isn't that big and public transport is good, and I wish I stayed elsewhere as this hostel was a blemish on my entire UK trip. I later found out this was a chain and even had a location in London, no idea if it's as bad. But Liverpool as well as its travellers deserve so much better.

We stayed for one night (Saturday) as we were going to a concert. The hotel is right in the heart of Liverpool with the Cavern Club a stones throw away. Check in was quick and easy. You are sent an email on check in with your room number and code to access your room. The room was large, with a shower and toilet. Towels were provided. The room was clean and had lots of plug sockets. There was no TV (not required for one night). There are also no tea or coffee making facilites in the room. We would stay again for one night, however due to the location of the hotel, you need to be mindful that this is a busy area and the pubs were still jumping (very loud) at 4am.

I have never been treated so poorly by a hostel emploee, the morning recepcionist called Mira was just awful. Trully made me feel like I was bothering her and ignored me when going to ask for a capuccino. ¡She was extremately rude! I am a client and try to be polite to everybody, therefore I expect at least some decency.

I attended the Kabannas bar and restaurant in Liverpool for some drinks with friends as were celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival to the venue, my partner informed the bar staff of the drink he wanted while we were still deciding, the lady behind the bar asked for payment and he advised her that we were still deciding what to drink. The lady then stated "well I am not a mind reader". The lady also made an error on some of the drinks we ordered so we asked if they could be changed, she advised that this is what we had told her when it wasn't! I asked to be served my another member of staff due to her behaviour and attitude towards us and we were then told by her that she is the manager and needs to rectify the drinks. We will not be attending this venue again. Drinks were great, customer service was extremely poor !
