Great room size, great location with Asda, subway, Greggs and Burger King next to the hotel. Would definitely recommend to stay here is you are going to zipworld. Would stay here again!

No bus around the area, better come with a car or be good at walking, we ordered a family room for two people which is more than enough and quite comfortable, the bathroom and facilities are nice and clean, beautiful scenery is right out side, with burger king, Starbucks, subway and a supermarket right next to the hotel, can’t go starving if you’re not picky

A beautiful building, atmospheric and old, with a great vioew of Loch Ness - really has to be the best. The hotel is a looking a little old and tired. The 4 poster suite is the best in the hotel, but neeeds and upgrade. The food also needs a total makeover. Verdict: a lovely hotel that needs major investment and upgrade. Book through a travel website, as the hotel's own rates are too high.

I stayed in Bangor Travelodge due to a hospital visit the following day, on arrival we were greated by a female Receptionist called Jackie well what can I say her smile alone made us feel welcome not to mention her warm and friendly personality that really did stand out, when I explained why we were staying the night she went out of her way to make us feel relaxed and at home she even offered to carry our luggage to the room, Travelodge this lady is an asset to you, unfortunately the manager was off duty the following morning as I was going to mention to him the lovely welcome we had upon arrival, nice, clean and very spacious room will definitely be staying again upon my next hospital visit.

We overlooked that our bath wasn’t quite clean and that we found a small bit of skin peeled in the corner of the bathroom. It was disgusting but after a long day we really couldn’t be bothered we fussing. However, upon going to get into one of the beds we found multiple hairs and a large piece of dried human skin. You could literally see the prints of the skin. It was vile and the person who we told on the front desk didn’t really know what to say or apologise. He just gave us a new room key and told us to have a look and make sure it was ok. He didn’t come up with us or help in any other way. I don’t even know if the complaint was registered by him.

Friendly welcome from hotel staff and free roaming peacocks clean comfortable and very convenient as a stopover when visiting beautiful Anglesey

Excellent location for ferries to/from Ireland. Very quiet despite being a services site. Food and petrol conveniently close . Friendly and helpful staff

I’ve been going for 10 years and always seen as I call my friend the housekeeper Ann. But this time I came she not been here and has been a shock as I haven’t seen her don’t know why but just want to say every time I come I see her and she makes me feel welcome and really polite just this time not seen her and wanted to know she is good because she is part of Bangor travelodge the place is so good everyone I know is kid of still there Matt Ann Jackie rach and Stacey I really feel welcome when I come for that reason but this time I never seen Ann and she was the one who made me feel welcome I just wanted to put this on either to say happy retirement or hope u get well ur the most lovely lady I have ever met but never got to say to your face and I’m sorry cause I can’t say it now because took u for granted u will definitely be missed by miles and travelodge she commend u thanks all staff mentioned but Ann especially
