We've stayed here twice now - February and March 2022, with three weeks between stays. Hoping to climb Pen-y-Fan in February we found a yellow weather warning got in the way of our plans so we returned in March. It didn't occur to us to look for anywhere else to stay - we'd enjoyed our first stay so much. At the times we stayed breakfast wasn't available, however there are plenty of options locally. Our rooms were comfortable and well presented - I was expecting a Tudor theme, so that was a nice surprise. First time we stayed in the Elizabeth II room, second time Mary I - both great, but personally I preferred Mary I. The bar downstairs is a nice place to relax after a day out - the locals are friendly and are happy to chat, the juke box has a good selection of tunes and it's just a really nice village pub. It's a dog friendly hotel and pub, the staff are lovely and there is free parking. Hoping to return in June.
