Travelodge London Central Southwark

The worst business hotel experience ever!! No mini fridge, dirty room, dirty towels, no toothbrush and toothpaste, need to get the hair dryer by yourself at the reception desk, only 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi every 24 hours… etc In the bathroom, the shower curtain is too short, and the shower area is too shallow, so the water is everywhere every time you take shower, absolutely unpleasant. Definitely not recommended and won’t stay in this hotel in the future.

beds and toilet are bad, there is no amenities.

Breakfast was really good value for money, very clean, staff were brilliant. Room was clean, we had an issue with noisy guests & Himasha was incredible & kindly moved us to a superior room on a different floor, thank you so much Himasha you're a superstar 😀

Enjoyed my stay- very comfy bed and pillows. Properly working aircon that didn’t squeak and creak as it cooled the room.

Had a lovely stay at the Travelodge after a day of exploring London! Transport links are great so can easily get to wherever you need to go. The bedroom was clean and the shower was powerful. Recommend the unlimited breakfast- was a lovely selection of foods and Jaz and Jenny were great!

Fast service helpful staff quick breakfast and he was quick at the things and helping me with all the stuff I needed and I have been here before from 4 weeks and this guy is always here and helping me in all the ways possible thank you for the service bhanu

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in overall (although the breakfast was good). Although it states 'renovated' the renovation is terribly cheap and poor quality. Its already tired and there is a lot of grime and mould. The rooms are not well thought through functionally e.g. no plugs near mirrors or by bedside tables, and are not cleaned well. Certain staff were not well trained and seemed inexperienced e.g. didnt tell me about the need to book a time slot for breakfast. The staff on duty for breakfast (european lady with blonde hair & asian lady) were shouting at each other in front of guests!

I stayed at the Travelodge London Southwark for a work trip. Staff are friendly, but unfortunately it was not the best stay. My colleague had to request a room swap due to a mould smell in her bathroom. I would recommend bringing earplugs as the railway is very loud. There is also a pub over the road. I did not sleep very well during my stay. Breakfast is not served until 07:00. Unfortunately I had to leave early one morning and was told it was not possible to get breakfast between 06:30 - 06:45.
