Everything incredible from Christina (from Venice) on the front desk to Vasimin at breakfast! Had such a laugh and felt so at home considering I was travelling solo. A MUST STAY hotel if you are in London but prefer to be a little bit outside of central but have Canary Wharf and the River Thames literally on your doorstep. There is an amazing shuttle boat that takes you for free across to Canary Wharf which is something you need to experience whilst staying. Thank you to all the team and the lady dressed as a pumpkin greeting all the guests and giving out lollipops! Festive and fabulous!

This is 4-stars hotel. The environment is good and quiet. River view you can enjoy at anytime at hotel. The room is "standard" clean and big but old fashioned. The bathroom and toilet is not in good condition. The location is not good unless your trip is heavily spending on Canary wharf side.
The only advantage is a free shuttle boat between Canary wharf and hotel.

It was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had!
From the moment I entered the lobby to the time we left, we felt.
Lady on the desk I unfortunately can not remember her name, but she was an Italian woman, and she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great.
Usually when I go to London I get a different hotel every time but I think from now on I will be breaking this trend.

A few teething problems such as the soap dish was broken and left on the side and when I was already in my bath, I found that the liquid body wash and conditioner bottles were empty so had to get out to call reception to get more. I was given a later check out time and housekeeping came swiftly which was good. Please be aware that if staying in the old building which I love for the architecture, the breakfast music in the restaurant starts at 8.30 and can awake a tired traveller and goes on until the end of breakfast at 10. I love an atmosphere so this is not a complaint just to bear in mind when booking.

The ferry was a great plus in terms of getting around.
I think there needs to be an explanation of how the taps work - we were unable to get hot water and then when the maintenance guy came he twiddled them so that we did have. However, later on, we were unable to get hot water again.

this hotel is a distance away from the city, but i’ve come to love it’s quiet and quaint neighbourhood. as hotel guests, you get free rides on the ferry to & fro Canary Wharf pier, which is still about a 10 minute walk to Canary Wharf metro & various malls.
the hotel has narrow hallways to the rooms, floors are a little squeaky & you can hear people talk in the halls from your hotel room. lifts were a little confusing as well as rooms are subdivided into 8 areas (8 lifts).
me and my mother didn’t receive a warm cookie upon check-in, but my boyfriend who arrived the next morning did, along with the ferry schedule, so i would say hotel service is inconsistent.
we also had several issues with the toilet not being able to flush (me & my boyfriend’s room) & it took half a day for someone to attend to us - from the time we left the hotel to an hour after we got back. my mom had to call thrice on this issue. our toilet was also smaller and there was no drainage on the bathroom floor so it was often wet.
