I have been able to stay at a number of the Firmdale Hotels over recent years, and eat regularly at their restaurants. This was my first stay at Ham Yard, on a weekend in London with my spouse. Having had positive experiences at their other establishments I was slightly apprehensive about trying a new one. I need not have been. Our experience was excellent. From our greeting at the front door and reception, to our treatment in the restaurant at breafast, and requests of room service. There are always plenty of staff available to attend to guests' needs - all of whom are friendly and clearly enjoy working at the Hotel (the gentleman who came to collect our room service tray was very chippa, and we commented on this. His response: "I love working here!" - how often do you hear that?!). The decor of the hotel is amazing and everything is maintained in excellent condition. There is impressive attention-to-detail, and nice personal touches to note special occasions or return visits - all which make your stay feel extra special.

I attended an event at the Ham Yard hotel in May 2024. The food was unbelievable and the event ran extremely smoothly with great facilities and support from the onsite staff. The team that went over and above though was concierge and in particular Patrick. What amazing service and support. Thank you very much and look forward to seeing you again soon. Thank you

Absolutely outstanding! The relaxed atmosphere, comfortable surroundings, and chairs that don't cause backaches are all wonderful. The service was excellent and allowed us to sit quietly but still be attended to if we needed anything. We had afternoon tea, which was very delicious. Sandwiches were made to our tastes and allowed for changes. Scones were served hot, and the little cakes were delicious. We took doggie bags home.

Absolutely lovely 5 star hotel in London! This hotel has it ALL! The beautiful decor is absolutely stunning!! Can’t say enough about the decor….it was even better than the photographs on the website. The entire hotel smells divine! The rooms are very comfortable and the staff was very attentive. Lovely breakfast and nice bar area. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel that doesn’t feel too big or too small, book this hotel! It’s absolutely perfect in every way! I will be back!!!

Great hotel. , stylish and comfortable. Good food options and nice service. Room service was tasty too! I’ll come back for sure and recommend my friends. It is expensive but I would say worth it as the service is friendly and kind and nice facilities

Our family travels quite a bit, and the Ham Yard hotel turned out to be one of our favorites. The location could not be beat, easy walks to pubs, shopping and restaurants. The staff was beyond accommodating only to be topped by the design of the hotel and the hotel bar. We will most definitely be back.

The Hamyard was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The decor is fabulous (kit Kemp is the designer). Each room is decorated differently. The lobby was quite attractive with beautiful flowers. I stayed in a deluxe junior suite (305) and it was quite large with plenty of storage - view wasn't great but that was no big deal . The location was wonderful - minutes from Picadilly subway so we were able to walk in many directions. As important though as the physical side of the hotel was, the staff couldn't be nicer. They knew my name almost immediately. The concierge helped to assist with directions and a couple of reservations, the bellman was great as was sthe doorman. We had breakfast each morning (which was included) and it was plentiful. I liked the hotel so much that I will be returning in August for a few days.

We were shown to our roomy, comfortable table in a busy nicely furnished dining room. We chose from an interesting menu whist I sipped a nice glass of champagne and my daughter a Lone Star cocktail. To start I had the ox cheek croquettes on a bed of whipped horseradish which was delicious whilst my daughter went for scallop which she enjoyed, we shared the Monkfish Wellington which was perfectly cooked and excellent, washed down with a carafe of Alberinio

This is one of my favourite places to bridge a bit of time with a cocktail or a cup of tea. I never book and I always get seated as a walk in. This time it had to be outside which was lovely and the whole place was busy. The last couple of visits has had slow bill service, last time we missed our train and this time it was 45minutes plus defensiveness from the staff for asking again.
