Cheval Phoenix House at Sloane Square

Definitely nice place to staying a night in Chelsea. I recommend there.

My 8 stay at Cheval Phoenix. Always great experience there in terms of stocking the place with food to last you a few days and location is great. Rooms are nice and large compared to any hotel room and nice to have a fully functional kitchen and laundry facilities in the room. Too bad the place will be closed starting feb 2023 for refurbishment.

The ambiance is inviting and comfortable to come again,the product quality is consistently outstanding exceeding my expectation, good customer service relation,quality product,very calm and peaceful,to be honest it was just like heaven on earth,the manager and blessing was very accommodating,love them all. Y’all keep the company rolling,job well done

The recent refurbishment has truly transformed and elevated this property to another level. From the moment you step in you feel welcome and immediately recognise the unique Cheval handwriting. It was relaxing to sit down while checking in and the staff was super friendly. My one bedroom apartment was on the top floor and had the best views of Chelsea which made me feel like a true Londoner. The interiors are modern, neat and luxurious as well as functional. The bed was literally the dream, one of my best night sleeps ever! I was also pleasantly surprised about the tranquility of the building considering how centrally located it is. I just loved it and will be back again!

We loved our visit. The accommodation was lovely, the location was perfect and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

The place is nice and well located but I have 2 things to say, one very good and one very bad: The very good one is that there is a lady working there called Aalya, Indian lady at the reception, and she was super helpful and the sweetest. We had an issue when arriving with the payment and she helped us a lot and even after all the issue she gave us an upgrade and she was very helpful and very nice, I really appreciate that and that girl is a diamond in that place. The very bad thing about the place is that I forgot some expensive medicines at the fridge with an small medical fridge and a container; on my way to the airport I realized and called them, the maid founded it but in the pics they have sent me there was only the small fridge and one medicine but not the container and the rest of the medicines. I informed them that I will send a courier to pick it up as soon as possible and they told me they will keep it inside the fridge ONLY for that day! How come??? They informed me that After that they will not take any responsibility and they will take it out of the fridge while those medicines needs to be inside a fridge… as it’s on a weekend the couriers I founded informed us that they will pass by Monday so those medicines will be already bad… I lost a lot of money in medicines thanks to this place as they were not willing to help, so no, I don’t recommend this place at all. Since when a place like this, and very expensive, doesn’t help their guess??? Plus a container has disappeared…. Go to a hotel, will be more professional than this tiny place with extremely weird rules that will go always against the guess.

excellent apartment has everything very new in a great location walk everywhere the staff are just amazing from the front desk to the cleaning staff very professional can not fault any of my stay very friendly safe area to stay great restaurants walking distance

I had the pleasure of staying at the newly furnished luxury property in the heart of Sloqne Square. The design of the property is exquisite, and its convenient location adds to its charm. The team at the property is absolutely fantastic, providing exceptional service with their friendly and efficient approach. My family and I had a wonderful experience, and we are already looking forward to returning in the future. I give both the property and the team a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.

I recently stayed at Cheval Phoenix House for 6 nights during a business trip, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory due to several issues with the apartment. Four mornings during my stay, there was no water supply in the apartment, and on one occasion, the water supply was unavailable for over 24 hours. Each time I reported the problem, the front desk assured me that they were working on it and that the maintenance team had been notified. However, it became apparent that management was aware of the ongoing issue and failed to communicate the true situation to guests or address residents' dissatisfaction adequately. One evening, when the water briefly returned, it was scalding hot to the point where it could have caused burns. The lack of water posed a significant hygiene issue, and on another day, the air conditioning was non-functional throughout the night, adding to my discomfort. The apartments have recently been refurbished, but they overlooked a critical aspect: soundproofing. The single-glazed windows did nothing to minimize the noise from the roadworks on Sloane Street, making it difficult to rest. Upon checking out both elevators in the building were not working and i had to carry 2 pieces of luggage down 6 floors. Additionally, one of the closets in my apartment was unusable because the doors couldn't open fully, obstructed by a bedside table. Despite being compensated for my entire stay, I am dissatisfied with the level of service. Having stayed at several other Cheval Residences in London, such as Thorny Court, Gloucester Park, and Knightsbridge, I can confidently say that the service at Gloucester Park and Thorny Court is far superior. It is clear that both Phoenix House and Knightsbridge require significant improvements in service and management to match the standards of their sister properties. The emotional distress caused by these daily inconveniences, compounded by the physical strain of carrying my luggage down six floors, was truly unbearable. I had hoped for a much better experience, and it is unfortunate that my stay ended this way.
