Sonder the Arts Council

Beautifully presented apar**ent, spacious, clean and bright. Great facilities with kitchenette with coffee machine and fridge/freezer. Customer service throughout booking has been exceptional. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the Sonder and will definitely be staying at other Sonder properties in the future. It was easy to get in touch with the concierge and they replied promptly. Loved the area as well.

Alright, so if you're planning on staying in Wes**inster, let me tell you about my recent stay at Sonder at The Arts Council. First off, whoever’s behind the design? Kudos! It's beautifully modern, and I felt like I was walking into one of those chic apar**ents you'd see in a lifestyle magazine. It’s not the old-school, stuffy hotel vibe but something much cooler and contemporary. Now, let’s talk sleep. That bed? I sank into it at the end of my long day, and boy, was it comfortable. I mean, who knew you could miss a hotel bed? But there it is; I'm already plotting my return just to sleep on it! And let's get to some practical stuff. You know how hotels often charge an arm and a leg for amenities? Well, brace yourself. Sonder’s got free laundry. Yep, you read that right. FREE. Such a lifesaver, especially for someone like me who, let's be real, packed way too light for the trip. Service was top-notch too. The staff was super friendly and always on the ball, making sure I had everything I needed. It's those little things, ya know? In all, Sonder at The Arts Council is a game-changer. Beautiful design, amazing bed, free stuff, and stellar service? Sign me up for another round!

You can't beat this location: Wes**inster is such an amazing area... so much history and beauty around you. You'll fall in love with the city if you stay here. It's amazing how clean and pretty our room was and how little money it cost! I can't remember ever having got so much value for the price IN LONDON! This company is amazing. Their app is the best though: they give you a discount if you book your stay directly with them.

It was a clean and spacious apar**ent and can walk to local sites in the area. There are no grocery stores nearby and no view since it was a ground floor. Some of the other units displayed views and so somewhat misleading. The double doors in living room was not able to close correctly and posed a safety concern.

The space was fantastic, clean. We had a heat wave during our stay but the air mover was more than adequate. Nice large rooms, multiple bathrooms including even a powder room for guests. The master had a walkin closet. Full kitchen with microwave, oven and dishwasher. Toaster and coffee/tea maker and also a kettle. It had a washer and dryer. Though everything could be done on the app, the staff was also available in the front alcove. Kudos to Tiffany and David. We stayed a week and the cleaning service, an extra charge, did a great job. The only slight problem is that it is a residential area and not all taxis know sonders the art council but you need to tell them 14 great peter street and guide them to the hotel since it looks like an apar**ent complex. oops, forget the terrace/balcony, quiet and you can see wes**inister abbey. Great location for all the touristy stuff. The neighborhood has excellent restaurants and multiple convenient/grocery stores within walking distance and a pret a manger for breakfast right down the street. All in all a great place.

Our stay at sonder was outstanding. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: -Spacious -Spotless clean -Furniture condition is great -Interior is very nice -Fully equipped flat with a washing machine and detergent capsules, equipped kitchen, a micr, a kettle, a coffee machine ( not nspresso), a dishwasher -Towels and toiletries available. Also kitchen rolls. You can always restash from a cabinet in the corridor. I can see some espresso capsules in the same cabinet, meaning that some of the flats have nspresso mashines. -Detergent capsules available as well to use in the washing machine. -Tesco and pret really close by -The flat is located in a quiet, yet very safe neighborhood Issue with the first flat we were assigned was quickly resolved after complaining through the sonder app and we were given another flat. Sonder Cons: I can’t say they are real cons, its just some things that you would be prepared for before coming, like: -No locks inside bathrooms and bedrooms -No safety box -No vaccum -No slippers -No dental -No bathrobe -There is no cleaning for the flat for the whole stay. However you can request for a cleaning visit for extra fees (113 pound as I remember). They returned the flat the way we received it:) Im really glad we chose sonder the arts council for our stay in london. And i would definitely stay here again if we will ever visit again.

The room is well located and we were happy as we walked in. Unfortunately the hot water went out after day one. Once that was repaired after 10 icy showers, we received a modest credit. Unfortunately on day 7 our air conditioning went out and we returned to a room at a sweltering 27-28C or 81-83F. Their service people could not come out tonight and we are left sweating until the sun goes down. Luckily it will likely be cool enough to sleep tonight

This was our first stay at a Sonder and it did not disappoint! Amazing location, spacious rooms, well furnished—we all loved it and are planning our next stay already. The customer service team was also super helpful and responsive. Thank you Sonder!
